Hi, I just got another result and thought I would post here in case anyone else wants to try!
The man I spoke to at sky said my 50% off was not dependent on anything else on my package so he said if I wanted I could add/ remove things without it effecting my deal. I was looking at my account and saw I just had entertainment extra, not entertainment extra + so I tried adding it and it went in half price! I was just about to add it when I remembered quidco! £50 cashbackso I cleared my cookies and clicked through quidco and even better, sky are offering a £25 m&s gift card!
So I now have entertainment extra + and if the cashback pays out It will cover the extra sub and give me an extra £20 and £25 gift card :j
Obviously cashback is not guaranteed to bear that in mind but it can be disputed!

Sky phoned me exactly to the day one month after I have ended my sub and offered me 75% off 12.25 for sky sports and ent extra. This is exactly the same deal I was offered last year and exactly the same date one month after end to the day. My question is how can I extract a new box next year. If I say I havent got a box and they wont give me a new one how do I still get the 75% then what can I say.0

I've been cut off for a fortnight and your post prompted me to check.
My Sky
Come back to SKY and get an exclusive offer on SKY TV, whichever package you choose.
I want it back but not really my style to phone up asking about exclusive offers. Would be interested to hear from anyone who has tried.
That's one method how they rope you back in.
Wouldn't be so bad if they used a 0800 (or even 0845) number for potential customers to enquire about the services on offer.
Also I have read previously in this thread that you get postal offers requiring you to ring to be told "sorry it's not available to you"0 -

I have seen some posts off people getting deals and new kit, but they are few and far between, most seen to be 50% off and still new kit.
The 75% off does seem to be offered when all they are doing is switch you back on with existing kit, ie no outlay for sky.
The going rate for a HD box on fleabay is in the £25 to £35 range, why not put some of your 75% savings to that, they will pair your account to whatever box you tell them? I don't think it's worth losing discount just to bag new kit.
We got a new multiroom box for £33 delivered complete with wifi adapter. Only about 12 months old too.0 -
Cancelled Sky in Nov. Had no calls from Sky. After reading these post I rang on 8 Jan saying I had rec'd the 75% off offer but they said this had finished. I checked my Sky account today and it had the "Come back to Sky" message but when I phone that number got the recorded message saying this offer had finished.
I have just rung Sky saying I was disappointed I had missed out on both offers and was offered the whole package with HD half price for 12 months. This amounts to £36.25 a month. I took them up on it and now hubby will be happy.0 -
Hi All,
I'm coming towards the end of my Sky contract and I am trying to see what other people have been offered who were in a similar situation to myself.
Currently I have the following:-- Entertainment Extra
- Sports Pack
- Movies Pack
- 3 x Multiscreens
- HD Pack
- Sky Go Extra (Free with Multiscreen)
I am currently paying £89.75 as I get one of the Multiscreens for free. But as of 21st Feb I will be paying £101.
I spoke to Sky who offered me all the above for £76.77 a month, tied in for another 12 months. The offer consisted of 2 of the multiscreens for £2.50 a month each and then 10% off my Entertainment Extra subscription. Do you think this is a good deal or should I hold out for more by giving my notice to cancel?
Any thoughts and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Bad times - put my notice in to cancel Sky TV a couple of weeks ago and awaiting the call for another 50% discount... however having moved my phone and internet to Plusnet a few months back, the phone is now not working..... hope its fixed before Sky try to call me....A big believer in karma, you get what you give :A
If you find my posts useful, "pay it forward" and help someone else out, that's how places like MSE can be so successful.0 -

Dunno.
What research have you done so far? How does this compare to new packages offered to new customers? How much are you currently paying for the package? Is it the same as above or different?
VM deals tend to be hard to come by, reading this thread. Im sure you were aware of that though, having read this thread.0
