Sure that someone said they had the call the day before ... if not, I was always prepared to try and take it out in the wife's name as a new customer and if they weren't having that just to reconnect me, so I had nothing to lose really. I'd leave it until the day before.

No. They check for that sort of thing otherwise everyone would do it.

It's been heard of, someone has done it saying that the partner has left them .. then mysteriously returned 12 months later when it's due again lol ... have a read through some of the other pages on here.

So I cancelled about a fortnight ago, got a call this morning and was offered 50% off TV, which I accepted, as it's a bigger discount than I am currently on.
Just got to sort the fibre & line rental now.

Been offered a new sky hd 2tb box for £64 I said no, the sky bloke said he will leave a note on my account if I changed my mind. Anyone think that's a good offer?
