Exactly..the previous poster was told he would lose the F1 channel if he upgraded to EE+, but as he also upgraded to sports pack he in effect gets to retain the F1 channel . He probably wasn't aware that the sports pack included the F1 channel, hence why he is wondering why he still has it.0 -

Had the usual phone call from Sky Tv...You can have Entertainment Extra for £7.50 per month with a 12month contract.
Checked our Sky bill online. We have a £2.50 extra charge for not having Sky Tv. I wonder is this charge will be dropped if we go for Sky Tv, therefore Entertainment Extra is £5.00 per month until the BB deal is up..
We've gone through the channels before comparing them to freeview. There is not a lot that we would watch, but I guess the "On Demand" and "Tv Recordings" would make up for it all...

That is correct.
I'm the same as patchman. So it seems this is a common error, still getting HD sports and movies despite not paying for it. Do we just keep quiet and hope they don't notice?0 -

Actually got called today offering me 6 months free but she couldn't apply it because I didn't get new equipment when I took the 12 months half price. My only response to that is: wut? Ah well.0 -

When HD first came out, we had Sky World with HD. We then cancelled and reverted to Entertainment and Documentary mixes. Sky cancelled Movies and Sport but didn't turn off the HD which we continued to receive without charge until we cancelled Sky altogether when we moved."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. Um, yes?

What do you mean? They offered you six months HD free? Were we entitled to free equipment when we got 12 months half price? I summise we have a 14 day cooling off period, can't we just call them back and renegotiate?0 -
I`m moving house in the next 2 months, anybody ever tried saying they plan to cancel Sky (my current discount ends tomo) and re-sign up again in their wife/partner`s name from the new adress to take advantage of the far superior `new` customer offers?
I`m planning on calling today but just wondered how other people have got on in the same situation. I wonder if I`ll get a descent offer, although probably another 12 month contract, to prevent me from cancelling my current account.

If I move house mid contract, does my old contract still apply or do I HAVE to move with sky as I am within contract? During my last move they told me as I had moved to a new address I did not have to fulfil my 18 month contract for the phone/broadband and I wonder if it also applies to TV.QUIDCO £2827 paid out since October 2007:D0

So I've just called to cancel my Sky package...Caroline who took my call was quite rude, she couldn't understand why I wouldn't keep my package.
This is why...
My Package:
Ent + with Movies & Sport HD (+multiroom), phone & unlimited b/b.
At the moment - £75
Next month - £105
All she could offer me was half price line rental! Which doesn't scratch the surface of the massive hike.
She offered to remove the sports, movies, hd & multiroom which would leave my bill at about £65, when I suggested losing all that for just a £10 saving wasn't a great deal, she got quite aggressive!
So I'm in limbo now, will wait patiently for a call closer to my cut off date, with a good deal.0
