I thought this, and I have since researched this and it seems you are right. However, I asked him repeatedly if I would have all the same channels in HD as I do now and he said yes, the only difference would be F1 Channel. I don't know what to do. As it stands though all the movies and sports channels are still in HD. I don't know what to do.
Maybe check your packages on the My Sky website to see what they've done?0 -
Same as you, well, except I have movies too. Entertainment Extra + and Sports and Movies. No HD for Sports and Movies, but as it stands I am still receiving these channels in HD.0

Based on the sky website Entertainment Extra + has some channels in HD. You can then add on SD Sports and Movies.
If you want HD Sports and Movies than you need the additional HD Pack at £5.25 a month.0 -

Lets hope we remain getting the HD channels then. I can't figure this mistake out - maybe because we were already getting HD through the old pack. Does your F1 channel still work in HD?0

Sky BB customer with weekend calls. Deal is about to end Feb 2014.
Had the usual phone call from Sky Tv...You can have Entertainment Extra for £7.50 per month with a 12month contract.
Checked our Sky bill online. We have a £2.50 extra charge for not having Sky Tv. I wonder is this charge will be dropped if we go for Sky Tv, therefore Entertainment Extra is £5.00 per month until the BB deal is up..
We've gone through the channels before comparing them to freeview. There is not a lot that we would watch, but I guess the "On Demand" and "Tv Recordings" would make up for it all...

Also, I was moved off of the old HD Pack earlier this year so it can't be a hang-over from that.0 -
My F1 channel is still working too… Very strange. Unless the change hasn't kicked in yet and it will do at next billing date?0

The F1 channel used to be included in one of the old 'non Sport' packs before Sky revamped their packs earlier this year. If you have recently changed to Entertainment Extra + you will have lost the F1 channel if you previously had it. As you now have the sports pack you will continue to get the F1 channel as it is included in this pack.0 -
...but you get F1 with sport anyway????0
