There are often 50% off for 12 month deals for new customers, plus they can use cashback sites.

Does the haggling(50% off)need to be done over the phone(shes a tad shy about such things,Lol)or can it be done via their live chat? Also, which cashback site is the bestest,do you think(she doesnt have any.

The 50% off deal (if any) will be via their website which is the easiest way to order the service anyway.

Quidco or topcashback generally have the same rate available so pick whatever one you like.

No, any offers are generally done automatically. Do a dummy order on their site to see.

Hi I have just removed tv from my virgin bundle and downgraded my broadband and phone . I have been advised that as I am cancelling my tv I have to give 30 days notice Last time I phoned to cancel is was disconnected next day and I was advised I downgraded services which is effective immediately. Any comments on which is correct would be appreciated.

  • I'd posted up here about having problems getting a discount with sky despite having been with them for over 20 years and having a full package (£110 per month). WE HAVE SUCCESS!!
I had inititally spoken with a man online who told me "I understand, if i were you, i would probably leave"!
So i contacted the cancellations team via phone and relayed this conversation with them. The lovely lady said that the people you talk with online would never have access to the discounts and deals that they would have via phone. We managed to get 50% off the bill for the next year and also get a new HD box installed for £19! A happy result for all of us. She also mentioned that you can't just have one discount at a time so encourgaed me to call again in a few weeks and see if there were any other discounts which could be applied to my account. Finally a woman who understood customer loyalty! My advice...don't give up!

    hi.
can I just ask if I cancel sky, will all the stuff that I have recorded stay on my screen or will they all disappear at the end of the month?
