I'd would check out the deals for new customers, and then ring them and say you're moving and see what they offer you to stay with them, if it's not as good as the new deals I would cancel and start again at your new property. Win, win situation then.
Mind you if the bill isn't in your name at your current property you needto get the bill payer to ring or they won't enter into any agreements.0 -
Phil will you be giving them the £50 for introducing a new client fee?
Or keeping that yourself? The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)0 -
Just cancelled my package with sky. The best they could offer me was £4.25 off my £61.75 bill! Unless you take their calls and broadband package then there are no good deals! I am annoyed but hey ho £62 per month in my pocket!0

dont know if im just rubbish at haggling- but i just told virgin i wanted to leave all they could offer was 5 pounds off a month they said even as a new customer i woldnt save anything but to keep an eye on new packages out then i could switch to one of thoseWhat goes around-comes around0

Did you 'want to leave' or did you give your notice?0

I cancelled as the deals are not good enough, I will rejoin with 50% off.
I think if you are really into sport and want all the football, get the TV through Sky and the broadband/phone through BT
BT are doing the sport channel free with all their packages, and you get BT sport 1 and 2 and also ESPN, they are also doing HD free currently.0 -
Yeah but if ur a sports fan then Bt Sports alone just aint gonna cut it.
BT are showing 38 exclusive live Premier League games per season, Sky will show 116 exclusive live matches.
Get what u pay for I suppose.....but in this case the cost is, without doubt, too high!3.975 kWp System, South facing, 21 degree pitch, 15 x Canadian Solar Elps, Samil Inverter, location NE Scotland (Fraserburgh) Bring on the Sun :beer:0 -

But BT Broadband is expensive. I looked at it when the first announced sport was 'free' and it didn't look good value to me.0 -
Their ADSL2+ broadband is expensive (although they have new customer offers right now) but their FTTC offering (Infinity) is pretty competitive.0
