Hi all, am a sky tv/bb/landline customer for many years. I have the full package which is in my name. Last call i made i ended up with £12 off phone line rental discount as they told me you will not get offered another tv deal (i was on 25% discount). I am moving house soon and wondered what my options are, should I cancel and start afresh in my wife's name or are there other options available??
Thanks in advance guys.0 -

Perhaps investigate Sky's Home Move Service? You may be able to carry your telephone discount with you...0 -

Thanks, this worked £5 for sports for 4 months, they do ask what sports you watch before giving the offer.
Just went through and can confirm this - was pretty easy.
I managed to get my line rental to half-price a few months ago when I rang to cancel to go to Tesco broadband. This is running out and Tesco broadband is still cheaper, has anyone had any experience of getting line rental discounts recently?0 -
You can always pay yearly and save ~33%. Obviously this locks you into Sky phone for a year though.
Unlike with BT, this offer is only available of you call them.0 -
Morning all,
Just a quick question, I am a new Sky customer coming up to the end of my 1st year.
When I signed up for the whole Sky package (phone, broadband & telly) I was quoted £21.50 each month for 6 months. Since that offer has now expired (incidently could I have called at that point when the offer was due to finish and see if they could extend it?) I have added movies and the HD package on. This has bumped my bill up to a whopping £69.60
I am not sure I can call and cancel either as when I added the HD package on they said that was for a year which was added in December so I think I would have to wait until December to threaten to cancel.
Is there anything I can do to lower the cost (threaten to cancel the phone or broadband?) would this make a difference?0 -
Again, threatening wont get you anywhere.
Call them up and ask about the term for the HD and Movies. If you can cancel them now then cancel.0 -
Husband pays for our full Sky package minus BB and phone as we are happy with BT. We haven't been under contract for a couple of years now and paying £61.50 per month. Sport and movies are watched together with the normal soaps and drama's, which you don't need Sky for. Also I very rarely remember to switch to HD either! Can anyone suggest what sort of price I should try and haggle" for pls? Thanks.0

If you dont watch HD content then why not just drop it altogether rather than ask if there are any promotions on?0
