I have sky broadband & Phone, never had sky TV and want to use one of the new 50% vouchers when available.
Do i go for the new customer or existing customer voucher?0 -
I've been with SKY for 4 months now and got a HD box with Entertainment Extra package. I pay £37 am month for this. Is there a way I can get a better deal? As I read everyone elses posts they ALL have a better deal then me!!
I'd be willing to get SKY sports and Movies if it works out to be a GREAT deal.
Thanks for all your help in advance.:money:0 -

My mother is a Virgin media customer and has been for years. She has 2 boxes (not recordable or TiVo) and doesn't have the broadband hub either.
She has unlimited talk, TVXL snd broadband M. She pays £60.40 p/m.
She likes the package but after being with them for so long i owuld think they would offer her something.
I called today asking about loyalty discounts and they said all they could offer is a tivo box for £1.50 p/m. it seems unfair that new customers who will switch in 12months get the best for less.
Just wondering if anyone has any tips or how to word it because i seem to be getting nowhere.

My Sky+ box got stuck on standby, so I got in touch with them & they wanted £65 for an engineer to come out. I refused to pay, pointed out that this was the 4th time in as many years that it had gone wrong, not happy etc. put me through to disconnections.
Another guy comes on, offers me Engineer for £15. Only deal he says he can do. Also half-price HD but only for 6 months. Not good enough says I. Fair enough he says & sends an email saying sorry you're terminating your contract! I say I'll think about it. He rings back next day - same deal so I pay £15, Engineer comes out & gives me an HD box (older type).
Then they take 2 months TV and 2 months Broadband payments at once! I phone them & someone in India says sorry we made a mistake. You won't pay next month.
I'm waiting to see!
There is no cable in my village, so the only viable alternative is Freesat:mad:0 -
I rang up Sky after being with them for just over a year to say that I didn't think I was getting value for money any more. Sky were very keen to keep me and offered to reduce my line rental to £3 for 12 months.
My parents then rang up with the same issue and they too were offered the £3 line rental for 12 months.0 -
One short phone call to Sky last week and my subscription was reduced from £56 monthly to £41 monthly for 6 months for the same package.:j0

I called Virgin Media to move to Talk Talk as I wanted a recordable box and better channel choice - I left the call with a new Tivo box, a boosted TV plan (I already had XL broadband) and a cheaper bill. Yay!2012! Theatre tickets; Folio Society book; Eurogamer Expo tickets; The Birds DVD
2011! £100 H&M vouchers0
