Is £31.50 a good deal for the full package including HD channels for a year?

If we accept the offer and it goes through (as we have to phone back) then I will let you know how I was able to get it:D

Depends. If it includes Sports, Movies and ESPN then yes, it's about half price.

    Not ESPN but everything else.

Edit: They said if I phone back on the 15th they will honour the deal (fingers crossed)

Basically I told them we got a letter about getting sky for half price for 12 months they said that deal is for people who have left so as we have cancelled and the last day is the 15th of August they will honour the deal then on the 15th when I phone back (so long as my husband who is the main account holder is there to confirm it all) :)

I just phoned Sky on 08442 414141 - option 3 then option 5 for leaving Sky. I was paying £36.25 a month - was due to increase to £37.75 a month from 1st September. Now it's going to be £31.70 a month. They seem to be willing to offer a 20% discount for 12 months on the TV part of the bill (but not the broadband side).

got a question ( if its not the correct place to ask this pls moved or let me know where to ask this )

I am with virgin media, i have basic tv/telephone/broadband with them.

i am thinking of leaving virgin for the reason the way they been trolling recently.

I play and download alot of games ( steam ) on a daily basics i probably download (inc streams ) 5-10 giga every day.

The problem is when i download something and then the wife comes home and goes and watches netflix my internet speed goes all the way down to 2mb-2.5mb and its almost impossible to play Online without having lag or high ping ( without the trolling some games i can get 30 - 40 ms with trolling i get ot around 200 ms ) when shes watching stuff on netflix, because once u download 2.5giga virgin media slow down my connection for 5 hours or so.

Anyone knows what internet provider its more flexible when it comes to downloading, so i can play online gaming when shes watching netflix?

We would need a package for telephone ( we dont use much of it so dont need anything with free minutes/weekends etc... ) tv its not important cos our tv got build in free view and shes watches more freeview and netflix than VM TV package, internet would have to be something where i could get + 10mb, i dont need something super fast just a nice less aggressive trotting provider than VM.:p

We playing around £35 a month for tv/phone/broadband we would like to keep that sort of price, anyone knows if i can get a better deal?

    Thanks!

Having cancelled sky in April, I've now had 2 'come back to us 6 months free' flyers through the door. They want to charge me £30 pm for the whole package (HD, telephone and broadband) then £83 pm after the 6 months. They also want to charge me £65 installation fee ( I need a new dish) which I'm not willing to pay. Phoned them up today after flyer number 2 but they still want the installation fee, so it's stalemate again!! is anyone getting free installation at the moment?

bee's internet is 'unlimited' as far as I know, and they have a phone package as well, but tv would have to be paid for separately (£4 extra to any virgin package if you don't have their phone, or go freeview/internet tv).
not sure it's what you are looking for, but just an option :)
