Soon to be back to reality! Tomorrow, we return to the normality and phone signals. Will look at the bills, paperwork, admin etc before "girding my loins" for the long hard slog of a fun half termFeb 2012 - onwards MF achieved
September 2016 - Back into clearing a mortgage - Was due to be paid off in 32 years in March 2047 -
April 2018 down to 28.00 months vs 30.04 months at normal payment.
Predicted mortgage clearing 03/2047 - now looking at 02/2045
Aims: 1) To pay off mortgage within 20 years - 20370 -
Another overpayment of 1.5k - and snuck in before the end of Feb! Certainly March won't be as fruitful, but as for our target, we'll get there
Was thinking a more realistic aim would be to save the equivalent of £100 a day -that'll be a huge challenge. ugh.Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved

a) 1k extra in, total of 1.5k for March, but not going to get too much higher me thinks...
b) Had a few no spend days, that's the key thing. Nothing spent on Tuesday, Wed, Thu and hopefully tomorrow.
c) Had a great day at work this week, loads of fun and enjoyment with our pupils. Can't complain with work when it makes you smile, despite the long house.
d) Loads of bills at the weekend, shopping, petrol etc will put a dent in my money saving plans. Boo!
e) No work and relaxing tonight, been working too hard recently.Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved

I'm sure your wisdom and expertise must come in handy - I've started working alongside the governors recently and I really appreciate what they do, although being a voluntary task with such responsibility amazes me that people want to do it!Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved

Bother, just wrote a long post, but pressed the wrong button and it lost what I said.
Basically, had an expensive shop today, but got a LOT of meat, all packaged in sandwich bags, labelled and in the freezer - for chicken, bacon, sausages, casserole stew meat and mince.
Am about to sit down and do some planning, but hope that next week will be cheap - I have enough money to not need a cash point - Money for lunch is my only expense I can see, it would be great if no spending days can be from Sunday - Friday - will be able to overpay a chunk of money in a weeks time if that's the case (and plan!)Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved
