No spend day, and upto 9.30 on onepoll.Hopefully not a lot to spend tomorrow or Friday too...
Very pleasing day at work, but also very tiring. Have set high targets on what I expect our kids to achieve by the end of this week and next, and bless them, they're trying hard to achieve them. Makes me proud (or to quote Heather Small - What have you done today to make you feeeeell PPPPPPROUD!)Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved

Delicious! Soup made (a serious vat of it - Sausage and sweet spuds) - will be good for 4 meals. Overpaying up another 500. Total of £2.5k. Hope to see an improvement next month or at the end of this month.
Had a pleasant realisation of my life today, odd to write about, but feel like a weight's been lifted off my shoulder. I will try to think about it and formulate what's changed this weekend. Very odd.Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved

Last update of the month I think - Doubt I can make much more overpayment this month, will see if I can raid MOM's savings for a few hundred pounds on Thursday night (pay day!)...
Next few months are going to be a challenge - in terms of bills *3 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zuYHFYjmYP8). Car insurance, MOT, Service, council tax all kick in, in April. Plus I need to renew my passport and am getting some DIY done on the house. April will be much lower, but we will persevere and see how we can get on.
So not a lot, and I forget how far we've come in a short space of time, I think the frustration is that I like to get things going ahead full speed all of the time and when things don't happen as fast as I'd like, e.g. overpaying, I lose the big picture; that we've made huge strides to get this far in the first 1/4 of the year.Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved

Payday and a new month tomorrow. No idea how the next month will be, Easter means a chunk is taken up without being at work = spending money
That said we're pleased with how we've done, and we're going to watch our wedding DVD (aaah) over the weekend. Should be a fun reminder of how we were when we got married.

First post for April - 2k paid off. Huzzah. Looking forward to Easter break, as once that's upon us, it's all of April gone in effect by the time you factor in royal weddings (And buying expensive bunting etc!). 14k out of 22k is the target, which is do-able at the moment. Oh and we get paid earlier than normal due to the Bank Holidays at the end of April. So maybe not as bad a month as I was thinking.
We shall see.Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved

Most annoying! Had 4 onepoll surveys to do.
1) Male - screened out for wrong gender
2) Married, no children - screened out for having no children
3) Married, 2-3 years - screened out, assuming for the wrong length of relationship
4) Married, no children - screened out for having no children
That's 55p down the drain. Never mind, being scrupulous in answering has its down side it appears...Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved

Another 250 in - 2.25k for the month. Have been suckered into getting BT super fast internet (not really much persuasion needed) - will apparently give me a 6 times speed increase which is great for me, and a new router which is good as the old one is knackered. And I bought some cheap phones off ebay today, as the only phone that works is one connected to our hub - and we barely use the phones now, but as we need one for emergencies/incoming calls we got that. So a more expensive day than I thought really! BT is £10 a month more, but as we were on a super cheap deal before, I don't mind, especially if the speed increase is beneficial. I've also applied for a credit card (15 months interest free on all new purchases) - as I'd like to buy a fancy camera.
Anyway, roll on Easter - next Wed is D-Day then we have only 2 days in school before May 3rd, which is a bit of a bonus.Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved
