Nice post. Nice day weather-wise today, daffodils in flower, soon be lighter nights again, it's all good. Hard not to feel good listening to Abba aswell
I hardly have any food in the house at the mo and am making things last as much into the week as poss so I don't have to get any money out & trudge to the supermarket. I like getting through the week having spent nothing lol.#39 - Save £12k in 20250 -
Another beauty today weather wise - tempered by me listening to some Beethoven today cheers me up today.
2 surveys (.35 on One Poll) and a no spend day. Can't be unhappy with that, plus the new Costco catalogue's come through, it's highlighted some bargains for me to get at the weekend - the wipes are 33% off and really good, and some other bits and bobs we use on a regular basis so hopefully an extra saving can be made. No spend day today again, pleased, using voucher for Pizza Hut and a 50% off from this very site
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/cheap-restaurant-deals#ph241
meaning a cheap and pleasant meal out.
Plus the wife's found some Tesco Vouchers which we will use with another place taken off the above list for another evening out. Admittedly, Pizza Hut isn't too romantic, but it's the thought and gesture that's great from my aunt who sent the voucher to me.
Will report back if I'm still alive tomorrow am!Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved

So Pizza Hut okay, expensive - even with £20 off. We had a half price ticket (see 2 posts above) but you had to print it out for it to be valid - and no amount of showing screenshots on my phone or the email from pizza hut would be accepted. Grr! Anyway, it was pleasant (not as down market as I feared) - is that me being snobby!?
Anyway, shopping done, petrol budgeted for, hopefully no more expenses between now and Friday - I can but dreamFeb 2012 - onwards MF achieved

I'm over budget. Rats! Petrol is huge, had to go to a meeting today, which meant an expensive and tasteless sandwich.
Hope to get to this weekend with some cash in my pocket, and then a cheap week to get us through until next payday (and the potential relief of Easter break!)Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved

Brainiacs is a prog that's up my street, haven't seen him presenting it. Is it a one off or is he hosting a series? That and Bang goes the science (not the right name) on BBC1 are most enjoyable.Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved

Although I find Heston most enjoyable in terms of what he does, and he also explains how and why he does stuff, which is what I find interesting.Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved
