LOL who would watch the footy?!
Roll on half term, I got another zero showing for coursework today. Next week they're going to be all over me wanting me to do it before school, at break, at the weekend...and they'll be sadly disappointed. I will play the 8 + months preggy card and say "non".Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Exactly! I'm limiting it to a couple of evenings a week next half term, and will be really strict in who attends etc. I'm gradually getting coursework (completed) in, but boy is it hard! And I know full well next term will be even harder as I'm trying to get it out of "less willing" pupils if I can put it like that...Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved

Another weekend is upon us
One till half term - another £250 overpaid - looking forward to half term more now than ever, and another cheap month ahead. Aiming to get another £500 in the account between now and the end of the month - I'm pleased it's a short month

Hi originalmiscellany, congrats on the overpayments.:j
I am just catching up on all the diaries on this board and have realised that nearly everyone is a teacher!!! :rotfl: I am starting to feel left out...lol. Have a good weekend.Credit card £4461.15Home mortgage £137117Buy to let mortgage £83,0000 -
Remind me WABL - are you a teacher too? I can't remember, I'm sure you've told me but in my old age I've forgotten
Good work on your mortgage overpayments yourself by the way, getting your mortgage down by coming up to 30k isn't bad at all.
Today: Email some parents, do some marking, nothing too stressful but just enough to ensure I can be done by lunch time (3 hours time) and have the weekend off.
I may keep a "time calendar" of when and what I work on next week to see what I do. Could be interesting if grizzly...Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved

Ihatedida - 1 week to go. Just don't forget that! We're due the "O" word, everyone around us is getting done, I just hope they have the sense to come when we have some quiet days, and nothing stressful - fat chance!Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved

I definitely haven't forgotten - infact my system feels as though I should be off now..... (I think this is the first year that I haven't had Valentines week off). Ofsted on Thurs/Fri would be good - at least then you have plenty of recovery time!!! Good luck when they finally arrive!;)0 -
We are due the O word too, just think they will have the good manners to wait until I am on mat leave...Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

I would like to think so! With us, I'd like it post Easter (i.e. near the end of term, rather than now, it'll give me chance to get paperwork in order)...
We clubbed together and found £22.50 worth of Tesco vouchers we used yesterday off the order - MOM has the habit of saving them in her purse and leaving them there! Means this weeks shop will be a lot cheaper than usual. Yippee.Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved
