So what happens if you make their name bold, like this Hula Groove?

Or does it have to be in italics like this Hula Groove?

Or does it have to be in bold AND italics Hula Groove?

    So anyway what happens?

The OH is at her dress fitting now, no doubt she's told the bridal shop too.
Let's hope she doesn't change her mind about that then or we will have to have another thread so the baying wolves can get their blood fix.

    That's REALLY funny! Loved it.

I approve of their choice of wine - St Emilion - used to live near there and it is an excellent wine.

Dont know if the OP is still reading this but i hope that in spite of the bands unreasonable demands, you and your partner have a great wedding, that this doesnt taint your wedding day or memories and more importantly, that yourself and your partner have a long and happy life together ;)

Ok, thats my soppy bit over.........:D

Hula Groove...bully boy tactics....no deposit paid, no contract....

apart from that, they appear to be available for most dates I could think of, whats more interesting, they appear to also be available to play nearly anywhere in the British Isles.....

no one in a band likes to have their gigs cancelled...but it happens...and I've yet to meet a band that re-imbursed the venue or the client when they didn't turn up or had to cancel....if they don't have a reciprocal cancellation schedule when they cancel (they pay you money) the contract is unfair.

Anyway for what you would be paying this merry band (9 of them ?) you could save half by going for a perfectly capable 4 or 5 piece band...

just had a read at their rider....lol....they sound like a bunch of real cowboys, 4 x 13 amp sockets to run their kit....lol....1 Hr pre recorded music after midnight £250!!!!...

after this thread (so easily found now on MSE) their reputation is going swiftly down the tubes....lol...would love to know what their charge was....you would be surprised what you can get for as little as £1k nowadays....

unlimited drinks, hot meal and sandwiches....Spinal Tap....come back ...you're forgiven....

they're going to get a bad press....not for their tactics requesting payment...but for their silly rider...

I think we established many, many posts back that they are standard terms within the industry.
