This facility will be great for me as I have two sons abroad at the moment but I am concerned that my sons will have to pay to receive my call at the other end. I know that if I phone a mobile abroad in normal circumstances the receiver will also be charged, will this apply if I use the 077 numbers?0

Its only any good if your calling International Phone Numbers (Landlines and (Mobiles In their country of origin). Not UK Mobiles roaming abroad.
So if your sons have International Mobiles in a destination covered by one of the suppliers, no they want pay to recieve call.Otherwise its not a good idea to use it.0 -
Hi - I'm just about to go to the states, and will be staying in hotels which charge a huge amount to call the UK from their phones, and don't take incoming calls except through reception.
Anybody know a way of using my 3 mobile over there to call home, without paying £1.50 a minute?
Would be really grateful for any help you can give.

I always thought that T-mobile charge for calling 07744 numbers. The article suggests that T-mobile are OK with this. Can anyone confirm that calls to 07744 come under inclusive minutes on T-mobile. Thanks.0

No its only any good when your making calls out of your x-net minutes FROM the UK to an Intl Destination. Its no good if you are roaming outside of UK.
Any x-network minutes you have can only be used whilst in the Uk anyway.Oitside of uk their no use and your be charged appropriate intl charges whilst roaming.0
