Cancer is a bastárd

Following my post in this thread, in which I said:-
Don't really know what to say but I would like to nominate Cancer Research UK. I know a lot of people with cancer and a lot of my friends have passed away from cancer.

My mother has terminal cancer so this is a main reason I'm nominating this charity

http://www.cancerresearchuk.org/

I thought I'd let you know that my mother passed away yesterday at the age of 66.

The cause of death was carcinomatosis.
She had a tumor in her brain, and yesterday her heart couldn't take the strain anymore.

so yes, as the title says, cancer is a bastárd.

  • Sending you so many hugs at the moment. I can't agree more with the title of your post. My brother passed away with cancer in Sept 2005 and my mam with it in November last year.

All I can say is you dont get over your loss but it does get easier to cope with. Its only now that I can remember the good times we had without crying all the time....

    I am thinking of you...
