Following my post in this thread, in which I said:-
I thought I'd let you know that my mother passed away yesterday at the age of 66.
The cause of death was carcinomatosis.
She had a tumor in her brain, and yesterday her heart couldn't take the strain anymore.
so yes, as the title says, cancer is a bastárd.
apologies for using bad language

My mother has terminal cancer so this is a main reason I'm nominating this charity

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

Sending you so many hugs at the moment. I can't agree more with the title of your post. My brother passed away with cancer in Sept 2005 and my mam with it in November last year.
All I can say is you dont get over your loss but it does get easier to cope with. Its only now that I can remember the good times we had without crying all the time....
I am thinking of you...0 -
