Hi Snow
Skype is a programme that you can download onto your computer which allows us to message each other in real time, so like MSN or other instant messaging programmes.
If you download it and friend, weezl or allegra or I we can add you to our chat, a lot of it is chatting and there is some CFR talk to, so feel free to join if you want to:)

I have adapted this recipe and made it several times with success - I'm not vegan, so use ordinary milk for example (shh don't tell Murrell!), and would be willing to see if it could not only be simplified but also frugalised to be in keeping with the spirit of the exercise.

Hi Greying Pilgrim and welcome. Thanks for following my blog.
I still have the book out of the library and wondered wether to try this recipe (I have renewed it that many times, I may have to buy it!). I don't have any yogurt in though. Do you just replace this with milk or have you other tweaks to this recipe? I was considering walking to the corner shop to buy vegan sausages to try this, but I shall wait for your reply when you next get to the library and then I shall have to try it. I could of course use vegetables instead of vegan sausages, but not sure which would work best.
I am still hear reading the thread, although sometimes a bit behind. My dad got though the operation, but is in worse condition than before, have the follow up tomorrow, so will know what we have to come. As I won't be leaving the house much, I will be able to cook more, so may try some of the planner soon.
Bye for now
Sandra

Sorry your Dad is worse than before Sandra, I hope he will improve soon. Thinking of you both. x
I'm really keen on a vegan toad in the hole, my mouth is watering just thinking of it.:DTrying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far!
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!
