If you'd like me to help in any way, we'd test all of those, except the two pork meals. The kids would also test the salmon pasta (I however don't eat fish)
Would we need a waffle iron though?

The recipe we'll be using can be made in three different ways: with a waffle iron, in a crumpet ring, or just as a plain ole pancake. I have tested it as the latter two (no waffle iron), and it was scrummy0 -
Hi everyone,
we are having fritters for tea, OH has informed me he is not that keen on them but thinks they would be nice with something. Hmmmz, am thinking maybe a dip might increase his enthusiasm for them.
I have a pork shoulder in the freezer if you want me to do something with it testing wise. I usually slow roast them a la Jamie and we love them. I also own a waffle iron ( 1950's thrift shop waffle iron) if you want some waffling.Eat food, not edible food-like items. Mostly plants.0 -
Oooh, they all sound lovely. I'm happy to help with testing.0

Happy to try out any of the recipes they all sound yum. Actually ex and i have had the salmon pasta and i can highly recommend it. We reduced the amount of pasta and it was still too much but very nomnom
Tonight we had HM meatloaf that i had made previously and frozen so a nice quick easy dinner.0 -
I had the smoked salmon pasta tonight, and it was very nommy indeed
I hadn't had much today, so decided to have the slice of bread, plus a few tomatoes and sliced cucumber from the garden. I used 100g pasta
Used pasta swirls rather than spaghetti, but with a smooth sauce like that, spaghetti would probably be better. I made the mistake of using a wide pan to make the sauce in, and as it was just for one, it spread it too thin, so I added a bit more water, and it worked fine. Could have added even more water really to make it a little runnier
I will def be doing this one again0 -
yummy, I love eggy bread.
And DH loves French Onion Soup but only if made properly, so would love to give this a try and see what he thinks of it.0 -
Hello, aureol, nice to see you've made your way over here
I am up for testing them all bit by bit, as soon as Kitty is over and I made some inroads into the freezer (I did a freezer audit yesterday, and the amount of food in there is frightening), and of course, I will be having Mockmas on Halloween
Queen of string, waffle away ! We love waffling on this thread....0 -
I keep eating stuff out of the freezer but it never seems to empty!
must be all the new stuff I keep putting back in! All the bargains, stuff from the garden etc0
