Allegra, I just have to compliment you on how organised you are. Seeing all your homemade stuff neatly packaged up gave me a warm fuzzy feeling inside.Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far!
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!

Hey, am really sorry but I am going to have to bow out of checking and responding to the e-mail temporarily. I am going to the Congo on Sunday at 6am for 2 weeks, the day after my housemates wedding and so am crazily busy. There is one e-mail to respond to, the one about dieting and fat in the plan. I dont think i would do it justice at the moment.
I shall be back on board when I return!God is good, all the time

Hi everyone, skype is being on one again. I know Weezl was playing with a lemon cheesecake recipe and remembered I had book marked this one.
http://www.thatsmyhome.com/cheesecake/lemon-cheesecake.htm
powdered gelatin is just jelly and I think someone had found the quivalent for heavy cream, we dont even get that in canada, whipping is as heavy as we go ( and some of those have gums in to make them whip - bleurgh). Splenda swops volume for volume with normal sugar, so that should be easy to work.
I just liked the idea of the jelly, was thinking it might adapt across many flavours, esp the citrus ones, loadsa cheesecakes!!! ( once its been frugalised obviouslly).
Can I also mention syllabub? My all time favourite dessert, dead posh and basically cream and lemons :-)Eat food, not edible food-like items. Mostly plants.0 -

Interesting QOS, my friend doesnt eat veggies, he was bought up not eating them and now sees them as something you 'have' to eat, rather than something people enjoy. He also connects eating veggies to weightloss rather than health and as hes thin sees no reason to eat them. I think thats half the battle, people equate thinness with health and if they have no need to lose weight then feel that it doesnt matter what they eat.

Poor arty, I hope you find your way back to a great sleep pattern soon.
When I was with my now ex husband, when we got together he didn't eat veg apart from peas. I found I couldn't serve a meal with no veg, it just didn't look right. As a compromise, we agreed I would serve veg and he wasn't obliged to eat it. By the time we got divorced he ate every veg you put in front of him!
Sounds good Aless, anything that saves time on a busy evening.Eat food, not edible food-like items. Mostly plants.0
