How did you find this b-s. I only ever seem to find dodgy work at home schemes. I'd desparately like a decent income working from home, I currently have a couple of cleaning jobs that I can do whilst the kids are at school. I also exam invigilate for £6.05 per hour.I have plenty of willpower - it's won't power I need.

I work for the Halifax (boo, hisss, i hear you say) in the mortgage department on about £500 a month (PT as I was a student).
However, as I have just finished my masters in Law I am moving on to bigger and better things (if i could find out how long my notice period is).How long til pay day?

I'm a teacher and have been taking home about £1050 for mornings only ( but I am at the very top of the pay scale) I have just started working an extra afternoon, so I think my pay will go up to £1200.
My OH however works in pensions and earns about £1200 full time (and he's 41!)
Therefore I keep telling him I don't need to work full time as we contribute equally to the household budget!0 -
teaching pay is better than it was. My GF earns £1600+ for full time teaching..."I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0

I'm a PR and Web manager in the NHS. I earn £25000 and bring home just over £1500. I live in Poole, which is horrendously expensive and have a degree and I'm doing a Masters.
I've seen similar NHS jobs in the Midlands for £35k but like the area. There is only me bringing home the bacon.0 -
I'm a Consumer Services Co-ordinator and earn £16,010, I bring home £1070 a month, but will be going on Maternity Leave in 3 weeks so will be on £108 p/w!**Trying my best to be the best that I can**

Public sector IT worker (with under- and postgrad degrees in social sciences ...yes, I know...which I have almost finished paying off; in fact it was a £30 evening class which gave me the quals for my current job) bringing home just under £1600/month after deductions.
My first job after finishing my Masters 10 years ago was making reels for fruit machines and earning 8k in London...and I managed just fine without credit cards! As my salary has increased, so has my debt
I love my job, by the way :T0 -
Hi there
I have just joined the MFW board - I hope it's OK to post here too?
I am an contract IT Project Manager. I work short term fixed contracts (normally 3 or 6 months). Money is excellent but there is no job security so you have to be quite organised with money and try not to be tempted to live above your means when times are good as you have to budget for when times are lean (especially as oh is in a similar line of work!)
I did a degree in International Hotel Management with a couple of languages -Goodness knows quite how I ended up as a PM!0
