Hey guys
I'm an Editorial Assistant, and my take home pay is 1009, after deductions for student loan, pension and season-ticket loan (which saved me lots). I have a BA in Marketing which makes no difference to my job at all, and have the AAT intermediate (which helps a lot). Am working on convincing employer to pay for me to finish the AAT.0 -

You say that you have no skills, have you thought about retraining. I am currently retraining to work in the environmental health field. I am doing a diploma with the OU. If you are on a low income then you can get part of your fees taken off. https://www.open.ac.uk. Or there are free taster courses you can do at https://www.visiontolearn.co.uk. These include basic IT and other things.
Hope this helps
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

I earn less than you and i'm 24! It's about job satisfaction, working conditions, happiness, stability etc at the end of the day, and not dosh.
I don't get paid much cash, but I get a lot of free things0 -
I'm self employed - somewhere between a webmaster and a freelance journalist (write mostly for my site / publication, but also for other people as the pay is better that way :-p)

Yes agreed. I work from home, & could probably earn more if I went back to doing regular hours in an office, but I chose flexibility & freedom over higher pay. Quality of life is priceless0 -
I earn a miserable amount for someone who has a BA and is nearing 30. So ashamed...."I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0
