  • I'm a registered nurse (working for an agency at the mo) and I run my own small business. My earning POTENTIAL is high but I'm struggling a bit with my health so on average just under £1200. After my holiday I'm going to look at my business much more seriously and see how things develop :T

I have recently started my own business selling Aloe Vera products. I'm only making about £500 per month at present but i've only been doing it 4 months, and it is very part time fitting around the kids.

I'm a security analyst. Money is good but I know I can do better. considering going contracting next year. Also considering studying for a cissp qualification. You dont need any real qualifications for this, just nosey with a slight criminal bent.

hi not realy he needs acops to make money on gas serivers ect and he dosnt have it and to get is 4 hundred pounds and at least three weeks of work which would be unpaid to take the course

    Hi Earwig,
My OH is a heating engineer so needs ACOPS. Domestic plumbers do not need this so it may worth him looking into it again. He could do baths, sinks, showers, maybe learn how to tile to a good standard and he could then do bathroom installs. He would just need to get an electrician to certify any electrical work and a Corgi Engineer to carry out any gas work. MY OH used to do this and got about £600 after paying for the guys to certify the work.

My OH gets time off work to complete his ACOPS and it is paid for by the Company - is this an option? It might be worth asking?

Could he do favours for people that need a plumber for a cash donation?
