Like you I don't think what is excluded is very clear - can you buy a laptop under personal electricals for instance?
I think you will find that 'personal electricals' refer to small hand held items such as razors, and hair dryers. after all where would you find such items in a store - under Household i.e. the same shelve may contain towells or plates.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -
I think this double up promotion is to distract us from the fact that double points will be ending soon.
When this happens, i wont be using Tesco for my main shop, but will only shop there when there is extra points/promotion ect.0 -
Double Points isnt ending anytime soon, but I know the Rewards exchange is being reduced from 4x to 3x in November so Id suggest everyone exchanges before then if they're saving up for holidays etc.All views and posts reflect my own opinions and advice0

Last voucher issue I was pleased as I was able to double up to top up my PAYG mobile but that option has now been removed (disappointed here) - I'll have to have another look at what's on offer ...0

I would like to know that too...0 -
I have just called tesco to opt out of the xmas savers scheme so I could benefit from the double token offer as I did last year. They have advised me that if I do I wont be able to get my vouchers until November thus missing out on the promotion which only last 5 weeks. VERY disappointed! I have opted out now anyway and will NOT use their xmas saver again as you never seem to benefit being part of this scheme. I will now just save my vouchers up each time I receive them but I do feel that us savers that did this last year are being short changed and I let them know it. I had £53 of vouchers saved so have now lost out on converting £50 into £100. Xmas savers beware!!0

Yes, the vouchers have been converting on 24th July and are on their way to us, some people already have them, so it is not surprising..
There are deadlines for changes and collection of points.
It is unfair about the double up... I suppose you win some, you loose some. When you are in Christmas saver then you don't have to worry about vouchers getting out of date all over the place.
Maybe they will do the double up just before Christmas again though?0 -

If deals are changing to x3 in november, do you know when in november? Will people have chance to change their vouchers up when they get their statement in November for x4 value. I've just bought a dyson hoover which wasn't the best deal but when I thought about x4 deals value of points that was on it I decided to go for it as it would be a nice chunk towards a holiday I'm saving for. Won't be happy if I'm short changed on deals
