We tried to double our vouchers in Aug but Tesco Fforestfach Swansea said they would only take multiples of £5. Tried again today as we had a leaflet saying "any points left over would be credited back". Again "no go" Manager said their computer couldn't credit back any vouchers. We don't receive vouchers in multiples of £5 very often. Just received £7.50 and £9.50. Anyone else found this?0

I think what happens is if you take in vouchers for £7.50 and £9.50 to Tesco to Double-Up, and request them to use £10, the balance of £7 will automatically be added back towards vouchers in your next statement.Thank you for reading this message.0

I had vouchers of various amounts that added up to £25.50, got my £50 in vouchers no problem, and as far as I remember, the receipt said that 50p would be credited back to my clubcard account. My vouchers were of all kinds of amounts - 1.50, 10.00, 3.50, etc.0 -

Not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere but did you know that expired Tesco clubcard vouchers can be sent to customer services and the points will be re-credited and you will get the vouchers on the next mailing. I have done this several times and actually sent £30 worth back recently. Unfortunately I won't get the new vouchers until November so too late for the double up promotion. You do need to send them back within 6 months of the expiry date as they don't keep records for longer than that. However I did find some that were a year out of date which I had mislaid and they gave me the points back so it is worth asking.
I had some expired vouchers (just by 2 days) but they worked fine online in exchange for Clubcard deals. Don't know how long they may work after the expiry date though.0 -
I made an order only a few days ago, just before the new catalogue came out on Wednesday. All went well, they even checking in store that the item was available before i rushed home and made my order on-line (so i could get cash back points) and make the most of my tesco Credit card (6 months free interest on large purchases) all went wll I used my double up vouchers totalling to £120.00...then a few days later i get a phone message about a possible delay with my order so when i call them back i was told that part of my order was out of stock (yet they have the exact same table on-line..though not with the same chairs) yet they were happy to send me the chairs which were still available! I asked for the delivery to be cancelled till the table was back in stock, and was promptly told my order would be refunded. I was given no option to wait.
So now i have no dining furniture.
I was offered a refund but this did not include my delivery cost and neither my doubled up vouchers...only the £60.00. I am still waiting to hear back about this and it will probably be too late as the double up ends tomorrow. argghghghgh!!!0 -
I can't help feeling that another offer will be on its way soon (OK - may be months or even next year)0

If people have got double vouchers and for some reason have not used them by today they can get a refund on them onto a gift card, but only for the original amount, ie a £10 doubled up voucher would get you a £5 gift card. This only lasts for a week and hasn't been advertised anywhere.
They may refuse at first but stores have been told to do it if people are kicking up a fuss, they then send the vouchers back to head office and it gets credited back the stores profit and loss account. They all got a memo through yesterday. If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550 -
can you use the vouchers today?0

Hi all,
Dont know if anyone has had this problem or know where we stand?? went to tesco today to take advantage of the last day for the double up deal, was buying toys baby things and household. Anyway I was told the computers had crashed (apparently did the same yesterday) they had already been down for an hour and they said they had no idea if they would start working again, and as it was a nationwide problem there was nothing that could be done. so along with many of other shoppers we had to abandon our trolley.
Very very disappointed, I dont see how they can get away with this as it is tesco's error, i have tried looking for the deal rules/smallprint and cannot find anything.
any advice or similar experience??
