Oh yeah great sit at the pump preventing someone else using it. Maybe he wasn't even in for fuel. People who sit at the pump for ages after fuelling when there is a huge queue are so inconsiderate. If there are spaces available at the filling station you should move your car before paying.

Maybe he could have parked a little further from the exit of the fuel station?

Assuming that he was quite close given the matter at hand... i.e. the crash/scrape

He maybe could have but without seeing a picture we'll never know. Regardless I think this particular bump was caused by inexperience...

It was yes, I miss judged when to turn. I'm taking my time next in future. I'm also getting those green P plates for my car so that other motorists are aware i've just passed.

I always use pay at pump now to help with the queues. I have found that over the past 6 months the tesco petrol stations local to me are almost always busy. At least 2 cars waiting at each set of pumps. I honestly can't remember the last time I was able to drive on to the forecourt and straight up to a free pump!

Its all experience and this brang will make you a better driver. The trick is to take everything in that you learn. The worst drivers are those that thing they are gods gift and don't need to learn anything as they are perfect.

I never have that problem, I avoid Tesco.

Their petrol is always more costly than the other local garages, yet the morons queue to buy it.

Could be a couple of hundred for paint job plus bumper assuming that's damaged

My front wing for instance on cheap costs £300 for new wing and paint job that didnt include blending which can add considerable more, blending I believe is when the paint changes colour to blend in with old paint work

When I say on cheap it was a friend of a friend paint shop and ford dealer were going to charge £400+

I also got a new bumper for £100 including paint that was done on existing hit n run when insurance paid for another panel and I paid for bumper which was reconditioned

Labour and paint are the big costs I believe
