Buy a few disposables, only a few pounds. If a serious accident, digital may not be considered admissable. Plus, if your car gets broken into, it's better losing a 1.99 Sainsbury's best than a £199 digi.

Thats a good idea Lirin. I can keep them in my glove box.

Prangs happen- did read somewhere once that most R drivers have at least one within the first year of driving. Don't worry about it, it'll be sorted out alright hopefully. As long as the first accident is minor learn from it and you'll be fine. Happens the best of us.
I've kept a camera in each glovebox from the start. Might never need them, here's hoping! You don't need to declare to a new company if it's settled outside the policy either.

All together now "OH YES YOU DO"

and it's a well known fact that your MOT, Tax and TV licence are rendered invalid if you don't

No you don't if it's only cosmetic and has been settled outside the policy... was checked when I renewed with said company, Zurich I think it was.... They weren't interested in prangs.

he was sat at the exit waiting for someone? sounds like a right penis.. whats wrong with waiting at the pump till the passenger comes back..
Oh yeah great sit at the pump preventing someone else using it. Maybe he wasn't even in for fuel. People who sit at the pump for ages after fuelling when there is a huge queue are so inconsiderate. If there are spaces available at the filling station you should move your car before paying.

Don't think the pump vcan be re-activated until the last customer has paid. So I don't think this really helps and might actuallyt slow things up.

Anyone know how the re-activation of a pump works?

Far as I can tell once you pay, they press whatever relevant button in filling station! Think it was AA advised not to move until you'd paid to stop thr risk of someone else filling up potentially at your expense.

Incorrect. I have filled my car with diesel and then my boat with petrol using the same pump (different nozzle obviously) several times.

Sorry but that is nonsense as soon as you hang up the pump that is the end of fuelling, if someone picks up the pump after then it resets.

Well it's obvious new drivers will get a few prangs. I do think the man shouldn't have parked where he was though because it was right at the exit of the garage. Cars have to move around him to turn left.

    it is? thats worrying
