UU last night- Dove Visible Results Body Lotion sample. WIBA? Well I didn't buy it this time, it was the freebie from a few weeks ago but NO, it has a very strong smell and not a pleasant one at that. The texture was nice but I wouldn't say the results are "visible". Quite glad its finished tbh. Back to my huge unscented Vaseline one from USA then I can start my BS butters:j:j:j
thats the one I finished in my last post - Im so glad Im not the only person who doesnt like it !!Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
Typically just as I'd planned to sit down and redo my inventory list the boy has decided we're heading over to the Essex house for a couple of days. So have swopped out the full sized bottles from my wash bag and replaced them with minatures for the next couple of days, and will redo the full list when I get back again, part way through it now and with the stuff I found when I was packing I'm slightly horrified at just how much there is and how many part bottles I have as I honestly thought I wasn't too bad for using things up before I bought another - and thought I'd got even better since I joined the challenge 2 months ago!
So I have with me
Hello Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner samples - these will be UU's when I get back.
Body Shop Moodflower shower gel - dread to think how long I've had this one!
Clean and Clear Shine Control Facial Scrub - should be a UU too not much left in it.
Dove gofresh Cucumber and Green Tea antiperspirant roll on.
Arm and Hammer Brilliant Sparkle Toothpaste.
In the bathroom of the house I have
Aussie Shampoo - not sure which one as it's the test product from last month
Tresemme Conditioner
Body Shop Mango Body Scrub
And one large box, a small vanity case and a Jane Norman Bag of things yet to inventory, before I even begin on the make up side of things!!It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

From Flake?
You just reminded me that I need to make a list of which are available to take with me to the shops so I can choose mine.
I reckon though that almost any of them will sell, I know my sister loves all the colours even though most don't suit her. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

i have been bad....just got tempted by the body shop offer....
i did however get 1 x 400ml rainforest shampoo, 1 x 400ml rainforest conditioner, 1 x 200ml rainforest hair butter, 1 x ceramic mask, 1 x gold eye shimmer, 1 x tea tree oil, and i got 1 x free carbon eye definer pencil (which i hope to ebay!) and 1 x 100ml warming mineral mask free and it all came to £21 so i can't really complain! As I'm hoping to be moving out soon i am in a way trying to rebuild my stash slightly whilst I have some spare money, and I also took advantage of the free Tigi 'S' hair kit when you subscribe to Look magazine for £15.99.....i will do my lines but hope you can see my reasoning behind it!x0 -
I think it would be absolutely fine to use your other cleansers with the LE muslins. After I stopped using C&P I carried on with the muslins for years afterwards with whatever cleanser I was using. I can vouch for A'kin Rose & Geranium Creamy Cleanser as being similar in that it has a lovely thick texture, and cheaper in that you get 225ml for about £12 versus LE's 100ml for about £12.kiplingmonkey wrote: »I agree with Jacks - I use the muslin cloths with other cream cleansers and they work fine - I have used them with Estee Lauder, Elemis and Gatineau cleansers and they work really well. Other people on the thread have also raved about the Soap & Glory hot cloth cleanser - I haven't tried that one but plan to get some when all my other cleansers have been used up (that will be the next millenium then - LOL) as it is cheaper than LE C&P - although I do love the LE one.
Thanks Jacks & Kiplingmonkey - in that case I shall try the same routine with my other cleansers when the LE runs out and fingers crossed with the same results. I am now tempted to try to S&G one - googled it and reviews seem to imply the ingredients are very similar to LE, so will definitely try it before buying my next LE (of course after all my other cleansers have been used up! :A I did wonder how much of cleansing was the actual product and how much was just the implementation of a good routine.
On another note - a UU to report! Corsodyl daily defence mouthwash - WIBA - yes - it's not the tastiest or most 'comfortable' mouthwash - can sting a little after a while - but I do think it has more benefits in keeping healthy gums than other mouthwashes. I have another bottle to start and a large Colgate mouthwash I got on a free trial to use up first though, so next purchase is hopefully a while away.
Night all
Cherry xxxDebt free as of 2010 :j - now to stay that way!

Onwards and upwards to the next UUNew surname New start!

And (this doesn't count in this challenge right?!) I finally bought the Boots IPL system last night, and got another £5 voucher
I know it's expensive, but it's slightly reduced at the mo, and I almost booked laser treatment last week for just one area - if the Boots IPL system works, it'll save me the fortune i'd otherwise invest in laser over the next few years. It'd better work... :P

Quick report from me:
2 useups -
Mitchum deodorant spray. WIBA? Probably - I'm pretty active, and this has proven effective after 12 hours solid running/hiking in a lot of sunchine, so that's good! Quite fancy trying the Sure one that someone above mentioned. And I have a Dove one to finish, but don't think there's much left in that. I'll see whether I can spot any good offers on Mitchum or Sure this week, and buy whichever is best value I think
No7 facewipes. WIBA? I've got these a few times (always with voucher!) and do like them, but I think I'll try the Tesco Vit E ones. I rarely use facewipes, but like having a pack about for emergencies/travel. And I have none in stash!
Also now have a third £5 boots voucher after an emergnecy trip to boots yesterday to buy some tights. Hmm, I'm not sure i like having these things in my purse, might need to find someone to donate them too!
I haven't tried the IPL yet, as I've been run off my feet, but I think I have a free evening tomorrow (at least I hope I do!) and am very excited about giving it a go0
