I use The Nice and Easy Root Touch up - is that Clairol? I like it a lot. It covers my grey really well, seems to blend with whatever other colour I'm using and fades out over the course of about a month or so. The brush that it comes with is better than a nozzle for aiming at roots and I save them for all my colour applications. My hair is quite porous hairdressers tell me and I use non SLS shampoos generally which don't strip hair colour.

I was going to try one of the ten minute ones this time but if The Root Touch up is on special offer I should probably buy my next two to keep me going until the new year.

    Thanks for the tip! :T

Yes, the offer is on Clairol Nice 'n Easy. Thanks for your endorsement - this has given me the green light to go ahead and buy in September! I'm still not clear though on whether once you open the container you have to use it for a one off treatment as it were.

just from looking on the (naughty) grabbit board but then just look at the offers and play around. all tea tree comes under make up and is about £4 each so if there is a freebie these can be the cheapest items to play with, or even sometimes they let cosmetic sponges etc be part of it. the glitches are no where as good as some that were available earlier in the year but i live in hope!! :)
ohh and the hair stuff was on some sort of offer, maybe BOGOF or 2 for £6 or something then they added the freebie and play about with deleting one or adding something else then delete one?

I usually only mix up a little bit at a time in the washable mixer pot and get about three hairlines and partings out of each pack. I'm not very precise with the quantities and it always seems to work.

Guess who's going into town today as well! ;)

Excellent, that's what I needed to hear. It's annoying to have to apply a whole hair colour when there's just a few grey hairs sprouting from the sides!
