Another UU for me boots dry scalp shampoo WIBIA? No gave me dandruff. I have noticed over the last 6 months alot of shampoos are giving me dandruff i have never had it before not sure if its old age or what but its very annoying. I also had very greasy hair all my life then about 3 years ago it went very dry. Not sure if i damaged it myself as till i left home just before i was 16 my mother would only allow me to wash it once a week and it was terrible so when i left home i started washing it everyday till recently i now wash it every other day. i dye my hair black so the dandruff is even more noticeable.

  • I went into Boots at lunchtime . I didn't buy anything but there's £1 off on Clairol root touch up at the moment. I've been thinking of trying this between hair colours but would be interested in whether anyone else has used one and their verdict. Does one box equal one application or can it be used several times? TIA

I use The Nice and Easy Root Touch up - is that Clairol? I like it a lot. It covers my grey really well, seems to blend with whatever other colour I'm using and fades out over the course of about a month or so. The brush that it comes with is better than a nozzle for aiming at roots and I save them for all my colour applications. My hair is quite porous hairdressers tell me and I use non SLS shampoos generally which don't strip hair colour.

I was going to try one of the ten minute ones this time but if The Root Touch up is on special offer I should probably buy my next two to keep me going until the new year.

    Thanks for the tip! :T

  • I am going to sneak in one last UU this month - Elemis capsules night and day, I must confess I have had 3 of these things in my cupboard for I dont know how long so decided to use them up, 2 day and 1 night - WIBA, no as I figure I obviously wasnt that impressed when I first got them (I reckon maybe 5 years ago now that I think about it - I think I treated myself to an Elemis QVC TSV and thought oooh that is so nice I will save it for best, and then its just lurked in the cupboard - note to self not to do this anymore!).
  • Another UU for August, Organix coconut conditioner, wiba? probably, it's cheap, it's sls free and it does a decent job

Also want to sneak in a few purchases so that I can have a no-spend September (:rotfl:)

Tesco Vit E eye make up remover x2, love this stuff and I had run out
Adee Phelan dry shampoo reduced to £2.30 ( a totally unnecessary purchase
Tara Smith instantly smooth organic conditioner x 2, another totally unnecessary purchase but what can I say, I'm weak

    xx

I have a kind of a use up. I thought I was getting to the bottom of my talc so thought I would decant it into a new one. When I opened it, it was actually fuller than I thought but decanted it anyway so that now leaves me with 3.
