can't believe we'll soon be gearing up for another thread for September, where has this month gone to. I've made a few changes to my epic list but not much has been used up to be honest. Think the only way ahead to use it all up is to have 3 showers a day :)

I'm off for a bath shortly. Forgot to add a UU: Bar of soap from a gift set. WIBA? No, don't like soap, it's too drying. DH also bought a nivea shower gel as there were none for him in stock. Getting desperate about the baby oil now. I really hate it!

Confession time although once again I can justify the spend!

Went to Cheshire Oaks on Friday and was pretty chuffed that a L'Occitane shop has opened there. So it would have been rude not to buy anything but (here comes the justification) I did buy products that we already use and don't have stockpile of:-

2 x Cherry Blossom hand cream. Although not my absolute favourite, I couldn't resist as it was a brilliant price. If anyone is interested I'll dig the products out and let you know. One may wing it's way to my sister as part of her Christmas present as she is huge L'Occitane fan.

A gift set of Cade shaving cream and after shave balm for MrM. A real bargain - £21.40 for the two, the balm alone is £18.50. He does use these and doesn't have a stockpile although he's only just opened a new pack of each. Each one lasts him months.

With each purchase I got the chance to purchase a 400ml pouch of Liquid Soap for £5.60 so I got two of these. We love the Verbena Liquid Soap. I know some people will baulk at the cost of it but I can't use cheaper ones as they dry my hands out badly. The one in the bathroom at work is vicious on my skin hence I have gone through tons of handcream in my time there.

On top of this with a purchase of over £45.00 you got a free gift which was a kit with Sweet Cherry milk bath (looked like full size), a travel size of shampoo and conditioner, 2 x travel size of verbena shower gel and two sachets of exfoliating scrub.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

  • Used up a small Boots Body Butter. WIBA, yes nice and light and smoothed in well. Found a big Dove Body Butter half used in bottom of drawer, so now using this up.

 Hiya my lovelies! Just getting all my UUs done before the end of the month. Apart from all types of make up which I seem to replenish a bit too regularly ;):o most of my other areas are starting to look a little bit sparse!

UU Hairfix Heat Therapy conditioning treatment 25ml WIBA? These are one shot pink goo conditioning treatments that you use after washing on wet hair and they heat up. They are quite hard to spread, and can be tricky to rinse out - but I love the effect they have on my hair. I’m not sure you can buy them any more but if you can I probably will.

UU Hairfix 123 1 50ml WIBA? I love the effect this system has on my hair so I’m going to leave it as long as I can but it’s pretty inevitable that I will repurchase at some point.

    UU Hairfix 123 2 50ml WIBA? Ditto.

UU Natural high eye cream 15ml WIBA? I’m not sure if you can still get this but I do like it as a light reflecting under make up moisturiser for the dry bit under my eyes.

UU Tri-Aktiline Instant Deep wrinkle filler 30ml WIBA? I’m not convinced this has been doing anything for me apart from the instant wrinkle filling effect which is quite subtle.

UU Laura Geller Tinted Spackle WIBA? This is a nice under make up base which warms up my uber pale skin tone a little without looking fake but I’m not in love with the ingredients list so I probably won’t repurchase.

I can't see any exciting beauty TSVs coming up at QVC in September so you never know I might have a good month next month. ;):D Although there is a Beauty Day - but it's blank on the schedule. Luckily I feel pretty "Been there and done that" about most of QVC's big ranges so as long as it's nothing new and exciting I'll be Ok. (Famous last words! :D:eek:)

  • UU - ultraceuticals gentle cleasing gel. It's a face wash DD brought back from Oz for me. Looks expensive. No SLS or overpowering smell and was lovely cleansing without drying etc. Though I have others and I think it's only availble in Oz. WIBA - if available and within my budget.

UU - Bodyshop Coconut Shine for hair. Tried to use this instead of my usual serum in an attempt to be avoiding more chemicals. Very disappointing, felt like I'd whacked margarine in my hair even though I only used a tiny amount. Made my hair stiff and sticky, so definitely would not buy again.

UU - Imperial Leather Soap. Nice smell and lather, brings back memories of childhood. Trying out using using bar soap for awhile instead of shower gels to see if it helps my dry skin.WIBA - yes, though have others to use up first.
No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!

Hi ladies! Still here, albeit I seem to have lost my way a little - only so far as posting goes though - still not buying stuff I'm pleased to report! Several UU's although several of them have been of the "hotel freebies" type - shower gels. Also a mini Radox shower smoothies - WIBA? Probably not - it smelt nice, but as I think I said before the wretched seeds seemed to get everywhere! A mini MOP C-System conditioner - WIBA? - yes, if it wasn't so flipping expensive! Smelt lovely and seems to have left my hair feeling nice in spite of washing it down in Devon - the soft water here usually makes my hair (and my Sis-in-law's) go mad with frizz! Also recently finished a BS Sweet Lemon body butter. WIBA? Hmmm - jury still out on this. Smelt ok but was quite difficult to rub in - I certainly wouldn't buy it at full price, but reduced? Maybe.

Hope everyone is well - I will try to get back to keeping up with this more when the sept thread starts!

I'm trying to think really hard but i'm sure that apart from lady products i've not bought any toiletries this month. Though i'm not someone obsessed with named products it's been a very long time since i've not bought 'some' product during a month.
