Hi SH
I am determind to get the Shred in as part of my daily routine, I would love to loose a few lbs.
Just over a month to go of OU course ECA due end of October, once I've done it I'm giving it a breal for a while, only doing this couse so they would letme 'back in' so to speak as my drop out history was pretty bad.
However today I have given up !! My paper shredder is 9 years old and has stopped eating things (bout the only thing in this house that has !) the downstairs toilet cistern looks like it's leaking, and I'm annoyed with myself for wasting a sack of potatoes !
Haven't ebayed, all silly annoying little things but am going to grab a place on sofa and drink tea/watch trash.
Tomorrow us a new day, new start to Spectacular September.DC.

Seems like there must be something in the air about September because I have loused up my budget already too by frivolously buying myself some much needed clothes and underwear
Good luck with the job hunting. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Make that another who is blowing the budget for September. I also had a sod it moment this week and bought myself some makeup which I neither needed or really wanted. BUT I just wanted to spend some money. That wasnt enough, no siree, I went into waterstones and came out with 2 books (found out when I got home that I already had one! - that is because I file my books in alpha order of authors/fiction/non fiction on different shelves -OK my Monicaism is coming out again) Notice I say blowing the budget because I havent stopped yet. Need to buy some new clothes for trip to London - or rather want to buy.
Dont beat yourself up to much DC. We all do it see. As long as you can recognise and stop yourself before you end up on a month long binge. Do you allow yourself an amount per month for treats? I have found that in the past that has helped me. After all you work to live not live to work and part of that is to treat yourself. You probably dont feel guilty when spending on the boys so put yourself into the same category as them. And that includes if you are buying something for the house that just makes you feel worthwhile.
Big hugs - hope the day got better and thanks for the post on my diary. If you are interested in that then PM me and I will arrrange to send it on to you rather than putting it onto freecycle. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Hi DC, your opening post I can so relate to. The debt weighs heavily on the brain! Dd is asking questions about dh and thats wearing me down, am missing dh so much and just have to realise this is it. He's no more forever, apart from inmy heart and my dd's too as I am so realising. The school is wearingme down, wondering if I can do "it", still achieve all that I want to, yes I say to myself, then when Im so so tired I doubt myself . Then I think be grateful for dd, move on, focus on positives etc, all is well. That conversation in my head is quite a regular one! Anyway, well done you for getting to where you are and for all your achievements to date. Well done! Take care xxMy debts at LBM (2009)Grand Total £161,983.77.(Incs everything, mtge, cr cards, loans)
May 2013 £124,080.27= £37,903.50 paid off WOW!!!!! Well done! There is a guardian angel out there! :AI'm visualising success, debt freeness, and happy days!:T0 -
Morning
My dear PAF, sometimes I fell like the sea emotionally, tides is in, out, angry, calm...The questions in your head, I relate to that, not having DH to bounce off. But look at us both, we are still here and fightingWill pop over to yours in a mo.
Re Shredder had a wiggle and I think a pesky staple has got jammed, armed with tweezers I shall endeavour to fix. But Cheri thank you ever so much for the kind offer, this forum never ceases to amaze me with it's genuine kindness. As for Waterstones that was one of my downfalls last week
SH, yep, priority wise I always meet the right payments, I just seem to sabotage any extras I accumulate.
Have had a lovely walk in the fields witnessing a lovely sunrise, I'm not a pink girlie, but that was a very pretty pink in the sky.
Three day week ahead one day on one day off. Serious job searching to be done. Looked at CV yesterday as much as I thought I had it pretty much sorted I suddenly realised I had left out every single O'level !Don't know how, or why they weren't there. So to me this means I wasn't destined for anything I've applied for.
Hope a good day is a head for all.DC.

Sunrises are truly beautiful to behold. Today we had the most amazing sunrise, however "red in the morning - sailors warning" means that the current howling wind and rain were only to be expected. If you cant fix the shredder give me a shout and I will post this one down. I prefer it to go to somebody I "know" because lately the people who I have given to on freecycle have been less than grateful if you get my meaning. Or perhaps I am being a bit too expectant of at least a thank you when they collect it. I am shocked how many people email and just say something along the lines of I will have it, when can you deliver it!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say that get the Sorry its already gone email, even if it hasnt.
Good luck with that CV. I suspect that the Olevels havent been too big a problem as employers now tend to look more at the skills and examples. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. You're in good company DC because I have had another blowout this morning

Good luck with the jobsearching with the updated CV.It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
