TMA not touched yet, maybe I'm good at working under the pressure of a 24hour deadline ?
So here we are 1st September, am very very skint, quite deep into overdraft, a massive 2p from Quidco ! Payday is 13 days away.
DS1, set up his own Cash ISA last night, I'm so thankful he hasn't inherited my money managment skills. We broached the subject of housekeeping last night, I don't want to take too much off him, he's not earning a lot as an apprentice, but I know it's the principal.
Right off to seach for a job.DC.

:T:T:T Yay to finishing. Relief is such a lovely feeling.
Your son is starting out his adult life well opening an ISA. You must be teaching him well. So I have the whole house to myself for at least 7 hours ! Day off, just me and the dog. With TMA out of the way I can have a totally me day, although this does involve some serious domestic stuff as the evidence of my dear DS2 having 6 weeks off is clear to see !
First off, job hunt, followed by a mountain of ironing, some ebaying and decluttering.
I did apply for a job yesterday, not sure it's me, but who knows ?
Pg please.DC.

Morning
Had a blip, a spending blip, non budgeted, freefall right into the depths of overdraft and it's only the 5th.
It was a sod it moment, self sabotage, rebellious fritter and faff around. Grocery budget shot to pieces.
Can't do anything about it, just haul myself back up.
Tis raining, had a lovely extra hour in bed with book. Mad dog doesn't like rain so I made the most of it.
So today we will take things one baby step at a time. Emphasis will be on acheiving little steps like ebay listing, actually doing it and not procrastinating.
As I'm always saying it's the litle things that make the big things happen.
Now what have you lot been up to.DC.

Hello DC
Ah I have missed you! So impressed you did the TMA. I've decided to give up on my Masters. bit depressing but I am trying to be kind to myself. I can't keep up and am not in love with studying any more.
I too have sodded up my September "budget". I had swopped all my DDs and SOs to another bank ......but didn't move my wages and haven't got my wages from my second job this month so you know its going to be interesting...............
Today was meant to be all get things done. But so far it has involved a bacon sandwich, tea and Something for the Weekend. Hmm.
*goes off to find her motivation*
Good to see you DC xxxxxxxxNevertheless she persisted.0 -

Am out of love with the time constraints and disciplines of studying. I want to learm these things but because I enjoy it not because I have to IYSWIM. Is that it for your Masters ? No going back ?
Sounds like you have the same financial contraints as me this month !
I have cleaned the fish out, cooked menfolk huge breakfast and cleaned up.
Boys have gone out, house is a peaceful state of a 'mess' like it's given up really ! Am going to have an hour gleening motivation from MSE !DC.

Hi DC
Well we are trying to add weight busting to our debt busting plan! Unfortunately at £845 for the family annual membership it has slowed us down initially - we are hopeful that by this time next year we could be unrecognisably slim (and of course beautiful) so that is our next challenge! Debt bust and slim down!
