    Good morning world.
I have the next 5 days off :T.
Been running around this morning and am glad to have 10 minutes to stop with a much needed PG.

Re the shred and eyelash pain, things are a little easier this morning so I will endeavour a second go later. My intention will be to start the full 30 day thing from the 1st September.

My wonderful DS1, yes he will look back and think I got through that. It's the identity thing, that piece of paper isn't him. In fact it's anything but.

You can sit and have a deep meaningful conversation with him about anything from the politics of WW1 to Simon Cowell and he'll have an opinion, ask questions, comeback at you etc etc. But ask him to sit in a room for two hours and write 4 pages on Mice and Men and it just won't produce the required result.

He's used the words stupid and thick over the last 2 days, need to get him out of that. He has a lovely GF, a boss that trusts him, thinks he is more than capable after 2 months in his position.

    Gently building him up again.

Menu plan needs to be done - timed that wrong with BH so close. And major Tesco order.
Got to run to the PO with another parcel this morning.

List a bucket load of DVD's and CD's.
    Shred.
Can't cut grass for obvious wet reasons, but I do have some very overgrown areas of garden which I will have to tackle as I can't see out of one window in front room !

Been job hunting, three jobs, all of which I'm umming and ahhing about.
    1) local high end supermarket, with a superb benefit scheme, hours are okay but some very late finishes, not really what I was aiming for.

    2) my favourite bookshop in the world, trouble is it's not clear what the hours are at all, even it's p/t or f/t.

    3) local business, admin position. Requires good Microsoft office skills and experience well I can dabble with excel but I've never used it in any seriousness.

Gosh look at that, drunk it all.....

What is this "Shred" you are all talking about, is it where you stuff your body into an industrial sized paper shredder or summat ???

Sounds a little less painful....might give it a go..

Can you believe my Mum sent same link on Tuesday !

I totally agree, what's written on my CV may show I was pretty good at English when I was 16, and absolutely no clue about photosynthesis, but when I walk into an interview it's what I do and say in the moment that matters.

I don't know what happened to me yesterday. Something to do with the lunar cycles ? Went to bed Thursday feeling decidely miserable, woke up the same. Faffed about all day yesterday, doing very little, with no enthusiasm. Maybe the aftermath of a stressful week emotionally ?

Well I don't have time to do that ! Sun is shining today - at last.
I have to get things done this weekend.

Sold two books for a healthy price on Amazon overnight.

Tesco's delivered yesterday, I'm looking at a grocery cash budget of £90 until the end of September. I will be in the OD by this time next month though.

So time for PG and some motivational diary reading methinks.

Your grocery budget is the same as mine this month - I have found myself being really grateful for all those people at work who are having birthdays/getting married/returning after baby because they are bringing in cakes, which keeps my hunger at bay and therefore my shopping budget in check.

(nothing to do with the fact that I like cake, of course!).

Hope today marks the start of a better time for you xx

Morning DC. It sounds as if your mood yesterday was the same as mine the day before. Not to worry, we are allowed a little wallowing time and you have had a lot to deal with this week, it does catch up. But yes, the sun is shining today. £90 is a tight budget, I am sure you will get through though. Hope that your son is feeling a bit more settled this weekend. Have a good day, get out with the mad dog and walk those blues away.
