  • No 2 in opening post declares a need to shift a few lbs. Nothing has been done to start this. However the old size 12 Levi's are becoming a little too snug, not yet at coat hanger stage, but it is cause for concern.

Friend lent me the shred, whilst 'watching' level 1 I attempted several star jumps, that alone caused a noticeable ache in upper legs. What does that tell me ? I am incredibly unfit.

    Need to do something !

A few days of shred will have those jeans fitting again.....mark my words!

  • Just weighed myself am 9st 10, not as bad as I thought. However I am clearly changing shape or my clothes are ! Am going to shift that 10lbs.
Hypno I'd love to get stuck into the shred, but my house is full of teenage boys and their mates while this rain persists. I'm thinking I shall have to do it early morning.
Proactive morning, sparkly clean bathrooms, recycled stuff and created an ironing pile.
Pile of paperwork staring at me. May well create a new snowball as my current one has had the 0% card added to it and this sounds very anal but it's messed up my starting debt etc etc.

Just time for tea first ?

I would consider myself quite fit but I absolutely hate star jumps! Still, no pain no gain.....they will work though...

    Good luck ;)

  • Good Afternoon

Took today off to have a day with DS2, and most enjoyable it has been too.
Lashing it down this morning, so we duveted it and watched the wonderful Forrest Gump. Made a pretty awesome trifle and just had silliness.
The sun has shown it's face this afternoon and he has hit the skate park. So......I got the shred out. And had an attempt.

I lasted 14 minutes out of the required 20. I can the do crunches and star jumps but this squat thing ???? I don't think my legs understand this movement. My knees don't speak this language either. I'll not be defeated yet.

I don't think sharing the half a bar of dairy milk whilst watching Forrest, or a smidgen of the trifle later today will help my cause, but I will stop grazing on the jelly babies during the working day, and any donations of chocolate (of which are frequent in my office) will be put aside for the kids at Chrimbo.

Financially I'm in the OD by £300, due to paying for boiler service/having tap fixed and generally overspending by £100 on groceries.

My September budget starts on Friday, and this is my first really tight month, the first of - at worst - 16 very tight months, unless of course I get the phonecall tomorrow.

For that matter - when I get the phone call, some day soon offering me a new job and a new life.

Morning DC. Is today the day you hear from the second job? I hope that you get the call early enough to be able to get on with your day. It is too late to say good luck but I am ordering positive vibes from the universe for you.

  • Morning DC,

I really hope you and DS get the results you want today. Fingers crossed for you both.:)
