    Hi is anyone else having paypal issues at the moment? Slightly peeved as a spent a while putting my order together and now my basket has emptied!

    is it paypal or is it that your basket timed out?? you only have so long to put your order in..

  • I emailed them regarding the substitutions with my first order saying please don't substitute items since substitutions never go to plan with me. In my experience your substitutions will only ever be as good as the person picking your order. If you have similar tastes to the person picking your order, you're out of luck. I don't think it's a problem with AP (although a clear substitution option would be nice!) as I've had problems with substitutions from both Asda and Sainsburys.
  • My concern here is that if you do not have the option for no subs can you get your money back if the goods are out of stock and they send something totally useless for you.

    I think this will put me off using the company all together if this is the case, which would be a shame as I have been very happy with them whis't I have been able to not accept any subs.
    In the very early days of me using them I ordered a case of Vegemite and ended up with 25 packs of Ryvita, (but that was my fault as I did not tick the box) I am not going to put up with that on a regular basis

    I'm having real problems - I should have had a delivery on Tuesday, and was given a consignment number, but nothing has arrived. I have checked with DPD,who admit that my order has not left the AP warehouse. I've emailed, and left messages, but no-one has got back to me. I live in hope of something arriingtoday or tomorrow, otherwise it will have to postponed for another week because I will be at work(!)

    It's a real shame - I so was looking forward to getting my order....

    Had a response from AF (Perry) advising they have changed my option from will to won't accept substitutes. Still not sure where the tick option box now resides.

    i have had loads of problems with getting my recent order delivered dpd seem to be worse than useless got my order 2 weeks late! good job nothing perrishable :(
