Hi, Your email should have been replied to. If you let me have your order number, I'll pass it on to the guys in the office and ask them to contact you.“Official Company Representative
I am the official company representative of Approved Food. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"0 -
My email has not been answered and I have rung numerous times and have yet to receive an answer or even anybody at their HQ.
I e-mailed via the website weeks ago about my order with the fact that most of the tins I ordered where dented.
And I never got a reply. I do understand that things can slip through the gaps when busy. But I doubt that I will order again.
Yours

There is a whole thread about them on the Food shopping board on main forum.
Some people are most enthusiastic about them, no longer me unfortunately. Got sick of placing orders based around a few select great bargains only to find they were constantly the ones missing from my order.
Have a look tho. Other have had much better experiences.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250

We've found the fizzy drinks don't seem to have much fizz left in them, apart from that everything else we've had has been OK.
Just be aware some of the stuff is past the sell by dates, but still usable."We could say the government spends like drunken sailors, but that would be unfair to drunken sailors, because the sailors are spending their own money."

I don;t think you're the only one. Most days there's a thread on here of someone wanting to "use up" an Approved Foods purchase. It's only a bargain if you're going to use itSeems like it's lots of processed foods, too.
I'll move this over to the Grocery Shopping Board
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
I recently placed an order with Approved foods. The cost of the goods I ordered was approx £10 but postage came to slightly over that so that my order was in excess of £20. I ordered a large bag of dog food that was badly split in 2 places and several cans of peas most of which were very dinted. The jury is out on this one: I'm not sure whether the high postage is acceptable for the lower prices of goods that are already near or passed their best before dates; I have accidently bought a dinted can in the past that has been off when I have opened it so they give me cause for concern; I thought that most of their food was highly processed anyway; I bought several bottles of hair conditioner that I have yet to try but admittedly was very cheap; I havn't completely ruled them out but I am not sure of how good value they really are and I am reserving judgement.0
