I find this strange as I order on a regular basis, I get a paypal confirmation a confirmation of order from AF and my order regardless of size is with me in 3-4 working days, usually by DPD and I get a text that day giving me a time slot - pretty good comms!

mine too comes quick and i order usually thur /fri evening

I got the automatic paypal confirmation from paypal, but nothing from AF and I got the email from DPD late last night, but that was the closest thing I got to hearing from AF, I didn't get the text from DPD until about 3 hours after the order arrived so that wasn't much use.

Overall I'm happy with the service I got from AF, although I found them extremely lacking in the communication department, but I will be using them again.

ordered on tuesday arriving tomorrow.
tracking link not working, will have to wait for text giving me a time.
never had a problem with Paypal or AF had a little leak once but i will suffer the odd glitch for great value.

Ordered Tuesday, received today and this time I had email confirmation with tracking times. All packed well this time but I have to say they do have funny way with substitutions! Ordered quite a few organic noodles and 3 packs(166gX3=498gr) got substituted by by one single 70gr chocolate bar. 3 packets of noodles makes me 6 lovely miso/noodle soup lunches so I would love to know how could I possibly achieve same with one measly 70gr chocolate bar? They have large number of pasta/rice/couscous which would make appropriate substitute and I get small chocolate bar

i ordered tue night and got a email today to say my del will come on the 31th and its is showing as being shipped

Saw the discount to use on the approved food Ltd website on the MSE email and though it all looked a good idea. I ordered £40 of goods including 4 packs of good quality loo roll at half the normal price, pasta, sauces, etc and once delivered am so dissapointed. I was sent 16 jars of various chillies, 3 catering size bottles of american mustard, opened crisps, other things that look as though they should be used by a kebab shop and no loo roll or cadburies chocolates no jordans cereal. All in all I received 3 items that I had ordered and the remainder were substituted. BEWARE!!! Read that anything can and will be substituted. I am very careful but at no time did I see a tick box to say that I would accept substitues until AFTER my payment was processed. I have now for 4 days tried to contact Approved foods and to now can not get a reply:(

I have to say that i find this very surprising. I have made a few orders with approved food now and whilst they haven't all been completely error free, they have always been quick to remedy any issues once they have been made aware of them.

I don't accept substitutes and have never had a problem with using the check box for this either.

When you noticed that the substitute check box was checked as a default, did you not think to email approved foods then to tell them that you would not be happy about this?

Try finding their page on facebook and give them your order number and see if you can get any joy there, alternatively i know they monitor these threads too, so hopefully should be along to help shortly

I had my order today, the only sub i had was the blueberry muffins instead of orange matchmakers, which i dont mind....at all...:D

I must admit apart from the VERY early days, i havent had any problems,

I love it when our AP food order arrives as that means i dont have to make tea.....lol.. as everyone is too full from stuffing their faces :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
