I have posted this message in a thread of it's own to draw attention to it, but posted here also to make sure it gets a good viewing:

I was on Facebook and notied that Approved Food had posted a status update of a code for a 10% discount. Not sure if it is for today only or for the weekend. It is to celebrate their 2nd birthday , i think!

Though i am not allowed to post the code here, i wonder if you can guess what it is if i say that it is the missing word from this popular ditty...Happy
    to you, Happy
    to you, Happy
    dear Approved Food, .Happy
    to you.

Hope it helps! Will post this on the Approved Food thread also.

I am not in any way affiliated with the company, just like saving money and thought others might benefit from this bit of info.

I am not expert but i have had a few (more) orders off approved food and been very happy . I am also on the forum a lot , nice people and helpful. It is up to you what you buy and how BUT if you see something that you like get it before it sells out. So i bulk when i can . they may not get it in again

I have been using this company for some time now, I do buy in bulk and have kicked myself a few times that I have not bought more, on the other hand I have bought some stuff that we have become heartily sick of and had to give away.
I have not bought a drink out of the house for a long time, that alone has saved me a small fortune as there are three of us taking packed lunches to work/collage, the same for crisps, crackers, jams, and snacks.
As I type I probably have a years supply of:- coffee, tea, rice, pasta, pasta sauces, noodles, noodle sauces, tinned toms, curry paste, chicken stock cubes (99p for 16 boxes of 10)beans peas and lentils, and about 6 different breakfast cereals, bread mixes.

I had a very skint month a while back and to be honest I do not know what I would have done had I not bought in bulk in the past.
When I go on the site the first thing I do is look at what they are selling by the case.

Ow and before you ask, no I have never had to throw anything away because it had gone off!

Space is a thing of the past :rotfl:
As is a cupboard devoid of cous cous, or some sort of flavoured rice, now I just have to work my way through 20 CASES of chicken type oxo thingies.
