I love approved foods, but like many I am getting a bit fed up of the delivery side of it, my order says it has been collected and dispatched from the approved foods warehouse, yet I can't track it, cannot find a phone number for approved foods, or can't get through to dpd, getting fed of waiting in and wondering if its coming or not, it might be cheap but its getting a lot of hassle, I might start looking elsewhere if the customer service side doesn't improve . Maybe they are getting too big and need more staff.:(
Spike is right - sometimes an order is picked and packed after the DPD lorry has left, so it won't actually leave us until the next evening, and it won't appear on the DPD tracking system until it reaches their hub later that evening.
The AF customer service phone number is 01909 564146. Alternatively, you can email us by clicking on "contact us".
Our business is growing but we have also taken on new staff recently. If you still can't track your order, you could post your order number here and I'll ask the CS guys to look into it.

  • Lawks, I knew I shouldn't have looked into this thread! I've just seen that AF sell my new favourite chocolate bar- Pawetek- which I've just run out of (bought a load on y/s in the co-op) and they come in another flavour too  :EasterBun

And so now I've got to make up enough of an order to justify delivery etc etc.... :o
They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.

Think they are Forces rations
Just an update on the above ..................
Thought i would go to the Horses Mouth as it were and rang our local army base and asked to speak to someone in the catering section , turns out there are several ways to use these little gems!
Pop into a pan of boiling water , turn heat off and leave for 5 mins , remove from pan and open the sleeve for a hot snack :T
Same thing with a wide necked thermos food flask , boiling water , pop in the sachet , cover and leave for 5-10 mins , eat !

Remove snack from sachet , place in a microwave , 1 min blast , turn over , 30 second blast ..... enjoy !

Grill , 1 minute each side , yummy
Apparentley they are a high calorie/energy snack so warn your other half if having at supper time :j:j

I overbought the Slimm stuff! I didn't read it properly and there are 12 sachets in each batch, so silly me bought five packas of each!!!!!!
Still, the vanilla bean and choc mint shake are very nice and leave you feeling full. The soups are nice too. I have been having a shake for breakfast, soup for lunch and anything I feel like in the evening.
I have lost 4lb this week.
If anyone wants some, please PM me, I will only charge you what I paid for plus postage.!

I wish the customer service folk could add up. This is taken directly from an email i've just received:
We owe you £0.99 and have added £.1 for the inconvenience and credited your Approved Food account with total of £0.99.
The next time you order from us you will see that your account has been credited with £1.09 and will be automatically deducted from your next order.

    And there was me thinking 99p + £1 = £1.99..... Ah- no, I see what's happened - £.1 = £0.10, so 99p + 10p = £1.09.....
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

At the prices they charge it's probably cost them a couple of quid just having someone email you, so that's decent however they arrive at their refund amount.

No complaints here whatsoever about AF. Never had a bad experience, nothing's ever turned up not in A1 condition. My only gripe is about how greedy on memory their site is. I can't get on it now until I get new hard-drive. The emails I get from them make me want to order stuff. Lots of stuff. Grrrr!

I too have no complaints from AF from the 2 orders that I have made so far.

One question though, I ordered double chocolate cake/muffin mix but it has no instructions on how to make it up. I mean how much water do I add, how long do I cook it for etc - does anyone have any ideas please?

I'm so glad that you posted this because I've got the exact same problem! I've tried googling to try to find out where it came from, but not managed to come up with anything. If anyone can help I would be so glad too!
