  • I put in an order on Wednesday evening--probably around midnight by the time I finished browsing. It was delivered this afternoon!!!!! Everything arrived as expected and in good condition. In case anybody is interested.... I tried the 800g Radion washing powder for 99p, thinking it must be a `sample` pack with enough for maybe 4-5 washes. It actually says 12 washes :)......but I haven`t tried it yet. Oh and the "white chocolate skulls" are lovely and the jar they come in looks great for recycling into a future gift.

I made a big order last week, lots of ice tea for trips in the summer. There are nice crackers and the fruit cakes look good, though we haven't tried one yet. And today we wcill try the part bake baguettes and report back on how fresh they taste.

I made my first order last week in two years.

I had a spate of things arriving damaged, especially plastic bottles so I stopped using AP.

My order arrived today and I was really impressed by the packaging which has improved greatly.

Masses of air pocket bags and large bubble wrap, especially around the bottles, so thanks Shaun everything arrived in one piece.

I may well start shopping with AP again every now and again.

If you let them know they will credit your account. If you don't want the account credited they'll put the money back on the card you used for payment.

About to try my first order. Really tempted to order the sharwoods stirfry sauces, at the minute they have cases of 12 for £1.99.

Best before date 31st Jan 2012, would you notice a difference? Honestly? I'm really fussy but I don't want to just be buying the 'in date' stuff as just out is much better value.

    Anyone bought these recently?

    These are fine.

I have been buying them from Home Bargains as they were 10p each.

I also use them to marinade chicken breasts in then cook them in the George Foreman and use on sandwiches etc.

    ;)

Regarding the Rich Concentrated Tomato Paste that they have on offer at the minute.

Can anyone tell me how you normally use this please, can water be added to use with spag bol, chili etc and can it be frozen as they are quite big tins.

I use a couple of tbs tomato paste to add depth to the flavour of spag bol and anything else that has tomato in it. You can also spread a thin layer on pizza before putting on toppings. There are a lot of recipes that call for tomato paste and you can freeze it. I would put tbs size lumps on a tray and open freeze them then put them in a bag or box.
