In the interests of fairness, I would just like to say thank you Approved Foods for sorting out my refund today:beer:

In the past I have found customer service very good so hopefully the delays reported/problems here have been just a temporary blip.

DPD are still experiencing delays and disruption in various parts of the country. However they are keeping an information page updated. Click below to see if your area is affected.

AF and others - please don't believe the DPD website. There is more than a one day delay on parcels at Crawley - at least a 3 day delay - I still don't have my parcel yet and no sign of it moving yet. I know someone else who has had a parcel "stuck" at Crawley DPD since 7th Dec on a "next day" service. So you might want to warn customers of this.
I think I will be lucky to see my order before Christmas.

Update - parcel still showing as received at depot - no chance of delivery today then! (and parcel from 7th Dec still received at depot). The delays for DPD must be horrendous - and this is in an area without any snow...

It's always useful to have this type of contribution so that everyone can see what's happening.
It sounds as if DPD may have been a bit optimistic in their estimated times for delays. To be fair, they do say "at least one day".
Perhaps they should have underlined "at least".

Approvedfood - I'm hoping by posting on here you may be able to resolve an issue I have, as I have received no reply to an email I sent to you last Thursday.

Order 78710 - 36 Slim Fast milkshakes were not delivered, although the full amount was charged. No refund has been received to date, and I have received no response to indicate the missing items have been sent out.

Due to the bad weather DPD have still got some big backlogs in certain areas. We are making temporary alternative arrangements wherever possible and will be sending some parcels via Fastway. Obviously we’re having to juggle things as and where we can in the best interests of our customers. Dan explains it all in a video that you can see on our home page www.approvedfood.co.uk

my order arrived after being stuck with the courier, AF were great in helping me to track the parcel down and refunded me instantly for all items missing.

The 99p box was amazing!!! lots of little treats for the kids and it kept the amused whilst i put the rest of the order away
