    I was promised a replacement order on Monday for 12 smashed jars of apple sauce. Apparently it was too late to be added to Monday's dispatch, but would definitely be sent the next day (in stock) and I would receive usual delivery time notifiction. Since then - zilch!. As I heard nothing on Tuesday I sent an email confirming phone conversation. No response within the 24 hours as promised on website. Sent a further email. Made several attempts to phone yesterday, no reply. Then I received an email with special offer for bankrupt stock. No thanks, I just want my order!

    No reply to phone this am. Have been pleased with service up to now (except for 50p refund which was not deducted from previous order, even though it was shown to be credited).

    Maybe it's the bad weather causing delays, but that shouldn't stop replies to emails. They should take a leaf from another firm I deal with who have hold ups due to weather but who keep me up-to-date and apologize by email.

    Sod's Law! After posting this, I tried phoning again and this time got through. Apparently snow problems. Now been informed I should not have been told a replacement would be sent as the package would not be cost-effective for them. I really think they should replace free of charge and take the loss, especially as I was advised a replacement would be sent - and when. Promised a refund (+ previous 50p due) to my Paypal a/c.

    Katholicos: your complaint is being looked into.

    Approved Food: it is taking far too long (yet again) to be refunded for items that were missing (and that would have taken up two thirds of the weight of the order, i understand)...and i think in all fairness since the weightiest goods were missing from the order I should also be reimbursed the p and p charges.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    On principle i will stick this out until i have been suitably reimbursed, but i really feel like telling AF where to shove their refund, should i be fortunate enough to receive it.
    I used to place one, maybe two orders a week. In fact, i just went on my Approved Food account to see how many orders i've placed this year and i counted 25 orders and that is just from March this year. :eek:
    Enough is enough.
    my third order received today, packed by james - all ok and delivered within scheduled time slot
    I don't recommend the glennan's parsnip crisps, they're out of date but I suspect I wouldn't like them if they were in date; they're now in my bin! ;) but I'm pleased with everything else in the order
    (I would have given the crisps to the birds rather than throw in bin)
    I've passed your earlier post together with this order number to the office staff, who will deal with it as soon as possible.
    so would I if I have anywhere outdoors to put them; I suspect the council would not look favourably if I scattered them on the pavement outside my flat!
    Sorry about this, cheerfulness4. Your post has been passed on to the office staff and will be dealt with as soon as possible.
    Unfortunately, although you have said this twice on here, I am still without a refund or an email to explain why this matter isn't being dealt with.
    I'm at a loss to know why this is taking so long. I've sent another email via your website today but I'm unsure if you're even responding to them after reading what others have said.
    I didn't place an order for several months because I was tired of dealing with refunds and hoped it would have improved but its now far worse than in Andrea's day.
    Maybe we would feel a little better if you could explain on here exactly why the refunds take so long and we have to keep 'pestering' for them.
    I'm really fed up with this.
