  • I emailed Approved Food over a week ago about a few missing/damaged/inedible items but have had no reply. I am not at all happy.

    I can assure you that they most certainly have not. I think you will find that the order they sorted out the other day goes back to the order i placed in the beginning of November! Order number: no: 68590. (yes it took well over a fortnight to get my refund!!!)

    THIS order is order number: 75768. I have most definately NOT been contacted about this order.

    This is terribly incompetent of your company.

  • Not trying to wind Katholicos or anyone else up.

    But had a delivery from AF on friday (email from them stated delivery 30/11 Tues but that was OK) informed them Friday evening of damaged items and have just had email from them stating a credit has been placed on the account.

    Admittedly they are not always quick to respond but this time thumbs up to AF, can`t say the say for the packer though as the outer boxes were all undamaged,

    Again not shouting too much about damages as more often than not items are usually really well packed, now if Dan could just find the batgains he used to have all would be well!
  • I've stopped buying from them now, just far too many problems that were never getting resolved. That's not good enough.

    It's a shame because they were initially very good but they've gone downhill rapidly IMO - bad packing coupled with very poor customer service these days and rarely any really good bargains anyway, a lot of the stuff can be picked up in the supermarket on special offers at the same price, or sometimes less.

    my third order received today, packed by james - all ok and delivered within scheduled time slot

    I don't recommend the glennan's parsnip crisps, they're out of date but I suspect I wouldn't like them if they were in date; they're now in my bin! ;) but I'm pleased with everything else in the order
    ... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D

  • my order is being delivered between 4 - 5pm at our works address, so hubby can bring it home with him...

    I must admit... In the begining when they had the first surge of tv/newspaper and on here publicity they got overwhelmed, and we had to wait 2 weeks plus for deliveries etc, but from my personal experience... they have just got better and better..... ok the odd little blip, but on the whole I am extremely pleased....

    I just cant work out how the same people seem to get problems with EVERY order they have?

    cant wait to snuggle up tonight on the sofa... with hubby, with our nice warm fleecy blanket, and a load of sweets and chocolate and watch I'm a Celeb......:rotfl:
