12 days on and my complaint still hasn't been resolved. I've had Perry offering me a discount which never arrived and Laura offereing me a refund of £1.25p
Neither have been given to me!Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200

:money:Hi, I use approved foods regularly. To get the best value, you need to weigh up the prices, compare carefully against high st offers and take advantage of what they term as 'case prices'.
The case prices are where you can buy for example a 24 pack of couscous for a silly price such as 99p. You might think that 24 packs of couscous is a bit much, but if you have a little storage space then this company could save you quite a lot.
Other recent bargains have been a 3kg catering pack of McDougals bread mix for £1.49 and dove chocolate bars for 10p.
Factoring in postage means that to maximise your shipping weight allowance of 29kg for £4.95, you will need to place a decent order. Mine are usually about £20 plus postage.
Deliveries are mostly by DPD couriers.
The basic history is that this firm was started by an ex market trader of almost out of date goods.
You will see a lot of biscuits, couscous and the occasional bizarre item such as vanilla flavouring!
However, sign up for the newsletter and log on quickly when the big bargains go online.
COMPETITOR ALERT!!!
:money:Foodbargains of Leeds are the main competitor. Often with similar stock, you can check their big bargains by choosing a tab which sorts the stock into 'low to high' price.
This also lets you spot the real bargains. A 6 pack of 'v' vitamin water for 49p, packets of hobnobs for 25p and 3 waitrose cornflakes for £1.
Postage is the same and DHL couriers are used.
Do check all prices against both your supermarket and also outlets such as Makro and Costco.
With both of these suppliers, you'll never replace your weekly shop, but with timed and careful bargain hunting you will pick up some treats.0 -
I emailed explaining my problem (2 bottles of exploding brown sauce all over my box) and got no reply back until the approved foods man on here pm'd me saying I would hear the next day.
Next day I got an email saying what was the problem with your order!? I replied again and have heard nothing since.
Edit: Just got a call and the lovely lady is refunding me the cost of the sauce and has also put a free delivery on my account.
Really friendly lady that was very helpful.
They have had a problem with emails going into another folder so if you havent heard back from them, give it time as they are working through them.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. I saw on the Approved Forum that a customer said be quick there are only 20 or whatever left of a particular item.
Am I going blind as I can't see where it says how much stock is left of any items.0 -
After 15 emails from me/from Approved Food, nothing has been resolved on the hiccup with last order and i haven't placed a further order, on principal.
However, just had a pm on here from Chris of Approved Food asking me to supply order number (again), so hopefully it will get sorted now¬Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200

You could use some to make muffins and there must be a recipe for pineapple wine somewhere.0 -
Ages since I've ordered with AP foods and I can't remember how long after you get the text with the tracking number from Dan that your order arrives. He sent it early this morning.
Is it the next day? Nothing showing when I key in the DPD tracking number yet.AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250
