i was going to visit their worksop site but according to the web page its closed ,ive emailed them to see if the address listed on their contact page has a unit open to the public but so far ive not had a reply .does anyone have any info please.

if i recall think they closed shop in last warehouse move but you casn order online to pick up at prearanged time i think

Hello All
First of all a big big thank you to all the people who contribute to this site for directing me to cheap food sites.
I am also having exactly the same problem trying to order from AF as cheerfulness4 is having. Has anyone any solutions?. I was told on the AF forum to save my page to favorites and I would then be able to get back in. This did work to some extent but then everything went from my basket and I gave up.

wish I'd found the solution atomicblob but still no joy here. I always have gone in via favourites to AF but it still gives me an error message when I tried it just now. Think I'll have to give AF foods a miss for a while as I too have tried two different pcs at two different homes with same result.
Doesn't matter what time of day either, day or night, exactly the same problem.

Another one with a small problem. Last order was missing an item and there was also damage to some items.
Emailed and got a reply the next day offering a discount and asking if I was happy with that.
Has taken me a few days to reply as I have limited internet access at the moment. Since my email(which did generate the auto reply so I know it has been received) nothing.
Not great. Other than the last order have been very happy with them though.

Sorry to hear some people are having problems - just received my second order, ordered Weds afternoon and came at 9am today. Very well packed (thanks Dave!) and all present and undamaged. The Bakin Boys cupcakes are delicious, we got a big box of lemon ones and it's hard work not eating them all today!

Legacy

Well, I placed a quite large order and guess what? It arrived and when I opened the box I found that a large catering size mint sauce jar has smashed and covered everything in Mint Sauce, tainting it and staining the packaging of the others items.
I have emailed Approved Food and had an automated acknowledgment, but no reply. I have taken photos of the damage and offered to send it to them.

My order was Order Ref:70935

To be fair, if Approved Food had actually had the courtesy to contact me and apologise and arrange recompense, I would have definitely used them again. However, this "damaged during transit" seems to be quite common and the longer they leave it without replying to my complaint, the more I think next time I won't bother.

So, come on Approved Food, sort it out! :mad:

No shop but you can order on line and pick up in person.

To be fair I am sure if you turn up at the warehouse with some additional requests they will fulfill them no problems!
