JILL, most of our customers prefer credit plus a little extra for the inconvenience. However, if you wish for a refund, our Customer Service Dept. will be happy to do that for you, if you let them know.

Strange. I was never asked for my preference and never got "a little extra for the inconvenience".

    Hi Everyone
Just got my latest order from AP and I'm over the moon with some of things I got. Mainly for fancy food pressies. Lovely oil, hot chocolate, nuts and cordials to go in hampers. Can highly recommend it. Quite nice Persil laundry capsules too. I'm just about to go back for more.

I am happy to say that my ticket has been actioned and a refund is being made to my bank account.

I also was not asked what I preferred initially and I was not refunded for the bashed up cans or by my calculations given a little extra.
What I really would have liked was the ordered items at no extra cost to myself. It just makes it difficult to understand why this could not have been done as they are still available on the website.

However I do understand that AF are not a big company like Tescos and waitrose so cannot compete with their refund policy but in the future before i think about saving a little money I will weigh it up against the inconvenience that could be caused.
I would like to say thankyou though for the message on here from the AF rep it i very helpful.
  • Darkangel, I can assure you that support tickets are not ignored but I have passed on your post to the Customer Service Dept.

I first messaged about the logging out on Sat, 6 Oct 2012 7:59pm. Last messaged on Wed, 24 Oct 2012 2:34pm. I sent 3 messages in between and not a single one was answered. The problem is still ongoing.

I consider that to be "being ignored".

Well I couldn't resist the great bargain treats and reordered lot's of the chocs, oils and cordials for my Christmas hampers.

It arrived late yesterday. Imagine my horrow when the box arrived and looked as though it had been through the wars. One of the corners completely smashed in. Inside, although well wrapped there were some breakages and leaks and the lovely oils were damaged.

Never fear I raised a ticket with Dan and just now got a very generous refund - so I'm off to order again and will probably find some extra treast as new items arrive all the time.

Thanks Dan and the team and you have vote for some of the best customer service around.

I ordered these a few weeks ago in both flavours, (chicken and veg and beef and veg). Today my OH and I decided to have one each for lunch . I think it must be the worst thing I have ever tried to eat in my life!!!! I could only try two spoons before spitting it out. I didn't buy it because it was "diet" food but because it came with discount shipping (at the time). Scientists should not be allowed to create such awful concoctions in the lab:eek:. Ughhhhhh.

My parcel arrived bright and early today - everything very well packed and secure, so well done Aaron Chester. The fancy olive oil in small tins are lush - just right for dipping or dressing salads etc. The 'black' is very rich tasting and the 'green' is spicy and sharp. Looking forward to using those in earnest!

If anyone wanted to know, the de-identified chamomile shampoo is Somerfield. Be aware that the powder 125g Bolognese sauce is for mass catering and would probably feed an army squad of 12. And the Rolnik horseradish sauce has the title 'Tarty' - cheered my husband up no end! :)

I was considering placing an order for something recommended on another thread, but after someone placed the link the price DOUBLED.
I was going to place an order, but had to leave it half way to go and attend to something, when I came back an hour later, the price had gone up

People who use the regularly will probably know the answer to my question :): Was that just a coincidence, or do they monitor sales and increase the price if something is very popular, like Amazon do?
