I can't tell you. You should know what your care and /or mobility needs are. That is what DLA is based on - not what needs others have.

The whole point of saying I have 'badder' hearing than the people I was talking about but anyhow thanks :D

Mine was a market stall one...so nothing special.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    Stupid question :o

How do you use a v shaped pillow? Like, what bit goes where?

The point of the v at the top, the two bigger, longer sides coming down either side....well that is how I use mine anyway.

I use mine mainly for propping me up to read or when my back is bad...but it also helps me during the night if I lay if down on top of my other pillows if I am finding it hard to sleep, for some reason, it works.

Generally, it is however it works for you.

Same for me. It does help more than my memory foam pillow, too.

Oh I see! I was just having problems visualising. I'd almost convinced myself you put the point of the V under your next and your head went in the gap, but thought that must be painful :o

If they're not expensive I think I'll get one, as my back is awful at the moment and I'm desperate for anything to help. My wrist is also playing up. Woohoo, fun.

  • There are couple of things in the up-coming Lidl offer that might be of interest. One of those full-length pilows that you can lie on to take the weight off hips etc along with what appear to be some Neoprene supports.

I am having one of those times where everything hurts and the pain meds aren't giving me any relief. Sleeping badly due to pain too. Hope it passes soon.
I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break :D

Not having a very good day today, no idea why as I have taken it very easy since the over doing it on Christmas Eve and day...walking was at a really slow snails pace and even then, everything hurt.

I blame the foggy conditions.....or I am just feeling my age :rotfl:

I got my DLA result this morning and it makes no sense at all. It says I'm a danger to myself and then goes on to say I'm not. Which I've taken as "we haven't got a clue". And they still haven't taken into account all my conditions - they've decided that because the average visually impaired person has no problems with going toilet, I shouldn't either - I have IBS too.
