    Welcome, beadle2! :)

I found my first grey hair today (I'm 24), and my back's playing up, so I'm having kind of a down day, too. *gives you a welcome hug* A lot of us here have comorbid psychiatric problems, though usually the depression is reactive. Me, I'm bipolar, of a sort.

I am in so much pain it is unbelievable, I've just had to be rescued by my middle son whilst I was in tears, stuck with one hand on the floor (long story and involves trying to hoover, which really wasn't a good idea).

All I did was go for a walk yesterday along the prom and watch the carnival procession today.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I thought it was my cocodamol which gave me itches, but maybe it's my omeprazole! I take an antihistamine to control it.
Tramadol makes me itch SO MUCH but that's usually just for like 12hrs after taking it. I do feel less itchy after about 2 days of not having the omeprazole, and apparently it's between 1 in 1000 and 1 in 100 that have it as a side effect. Doc said he was surprised it was that frequent. I take a strong antihistamine as a matter of course - it doesn't do much to help me, but might've masked it on its onset iyswim?

Yeah... My Nana was completely silver by the time she was 21, and now she's got white hair, so I'm kind of hoping mine will wind up white, as hers was as dark as mine to begin with. My mother was all grey by the time she was your age, too. And somehow I thought you were older than that - maybe you just sound more mature! *g*

    hiya everybody

i too recently found a handfull of grey hairs at the age of 34, im just glad i dont take after my mum, she had a lovely bald spot by the time she was 30, my cure for the grey hair was to get my OH to go buy some hair dye lol.i was trying to grow my hair long but i miss dying my hair all the bright colours, so i might just get it cut to a grade 2 and dye it bright yellow or tangerine orange :D

    a lil bit about me:

im caz and im 34 and suffering with pain and stiffness in my neck, shoulders, back, hips and knees ( a bit of gaffer tape and no more nails should stop me falling apart some more) i had a bad fall when i was about 8 and damaged my back, was told at 19 that the fall had put a slight twist in my spine, since then i have always had problems with my back.
over the last year i have had constant problems with a frozen shoulder and the pains from my back have got worse and seem to have spread everywhere else lol i now walk with a stick and in constant pains, the doc has me on tramadol and diclofenac which only takes the edge off the pains and the tramadol gives me almighty itches which drives me crazier than i already am .

my doc has now decided that as my last 2 blood tests results show that my rheumatiod factor has almost trebled in the last 2 months that its time to see a rheumatologist so now i gotta wait for an appt for that to come thru and maybe they will find something that is gonna help ease the pain a bit more

*gentle hugs for everybody* and plenty of hot drinks and choccy biccies :D

Hi all, and a very warm welcome to those I've not met before.:o

Now, would you all please have a quick look around where you're sitting and see if you can find Mr LW's watch? Silly beggar has mislaid it; I've had the bungalow upside down, and no sign of it.

He now thinks it may have "fallen off" somewhere. Honestly, if a chunk of jewellery that size fell off me, I'd notice!
Ho hum, I see an expensive replacement jobbie in the near future.....
