Some of my friends have had them on an experimental basis to treat chronic migraine - I think they're actually authorised for that in this country now.

*sighs* Lousy week. My favourite uncle passed away yesterday afternoon, then as if that weren't bloody awful all by itself, yesterday evening my washing machine packed in and my hip nearly came out entirely. Just... not a good week. :(

  • Hi everyone been lurking but not felt up to typing.

singlesue and trialia so sorry to hear of your news sending you both hugs.
sh1305 My friends DS had botox injections in his legs to help his cp and she said the results were amazing.

Hope everyone else is as ok and possible.

Went to the doctors today and asked him why I was in so much pain, my problems shouldn't cause this much. He said it was probably stress or part of the depression and take paracetamol. Some days I can't even walk upstairs and just sit and cry maybe he's right and thats what it is but I'm sick of it.
  • I asked for an appointment with the disability adviser at the Job Centre today, I've got to wait a month (grumble grumble grumble), but I guess I shouldn't be surprised. At least the appointment is there now.

sorry to hear the sad news SS and Tria - the kitten is well cute tho

busy bee at the moment and being driven crazy by invisible measle itches - side effect from omeprazole we think, which ironically is only taken to control sideeffects from amitriptyline and painkillers. Sigh. I'm surprised he didn't give me another drug to control the itches too!;)

I thought it was my cocodamol which gave me itches, but maybe it's my omeprazole! I take an antihistamine to control it.

Tonight am in a lot of pain. Was at work, and we had a delivery. Usually the driver gets it to the door and Ijust have to sort it the rest of the way which is fine. But tonight it was an agency driver who left me to struggle to get it off the lorry, up kerbs and ow ow ow ow ow. Wrist is really bad. I was tempted to phone my daddy to give me a lift home and sort my car tomorrow, but in the end I didn't and then he wasn't in anyway.
