  • No medical advice possible, Trixie - sorry. You'll have to ask the GP or pharmacist.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Congratulations and I hope both mother and daughter are well.

Ooh, I got given one of these by social services, and it is pretty good! Better than I thought it was going to be, IMO.

I managed to obtain one of these from our local freecycle. The gentleman's mother had passed away and they wanted to let someone who needed it have it. We had to buy a new battery, but that was a small price to pay for missus to keep her independence.. :j

I am paying the price for my stupidity right now......a chair broke while I was cleaning a window frame and window yesterday late evening, with me on it!

It sent me smashing down onto the sink unit so now along with all my normal aches and pains, my ribs are bruised, I have re injured my already pretty beggered right shoulder (plus my left shoulder), done something to my back (again!) and something to my right hip....plus other odd bruises and bumps.

When will I learn? I was only up on the chair cleaning the window because I was stressed and when I get stressed, I get OCD about things.....and why did I use a chair? I have kitchen steps not 5 feet away!

One day I will become sensible...........well, maybe.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Awww, that's a lovely piece of news to share :T I advise to see her as soon as possible, seeing how teeny tiny she is now will make seeing her grow up in to a toddler and beyond even more amazing. :j

I wasn't asking for medical advice, more like old wives remedy type of things like the honey and lemon.

SingleSue - doctors for a checkup? Sounds very ouchy :(
Trying very hard to be frugal and OS - just plodding on and doing my best!

I'll make you a deal SingleSue - you give up standing on chairs to clean the kitchen window, and I will too.:D Seriously though, I hope your poor banged-up bod isn't too sore.... and will you please stop trying to do stuff you shouldn't!! OK, OK, I know, pot - kettle - black and all that.:o

    You're on Lamewolf!

I know, I know, I should really listen to my body a little more but I couldn't help it, the stress levels went sky high and I had to clean the windows and then because I wasn't happy with it, I had to clean it again...and again (and then the chair broke stopping anymore cleaning of that window - it's still bugging me :D)

I'm paying for it now though, I was walking like a very old woman today and god knows what I am going to do tomorrow if the garage has not got a courtesy car for me as my car is in for it's MOT and it is not close to where I live...taxis are far too expensive to be able to afford.

One day I will learn...one day, until then, I will probably keep on ignoring my body and will probably continue to do some very silly things :rotfl:but then, if you don't use it, you can lose it (or something like that anyway)
